While beautiful, the area around Fuji is boring af. No casinos (beyond the illegal) in Japan, and the hookers don't service non-Japanese. (anyone telling you they got into one of the red light districts soaplands is lying to you unless they are Japanese). The launch party will be in Vegas, because they sold Vegas. It would be a bait and switch for them to do otherwise. "Pay us and we will provide tickets and accom to exciting, wonderful Vegas. The Mars Cheese Castle was a nice tourist place. Suits of armor and lots of cheese. We stopped there on the way to Gencon back when they used to have it in Milwaukee. It would also be somewhat appropriate for Ashes.

Maybe you could stage a Cheese Siege as an event.
