    Travel speed should be the same for everyone. If you have to explain fighters having the same speed as rogues, it's because they have more strength and endurance to make up for it.

    I don't mind short class-exclusive haste procs during combat.

    @Ehrgeiz, I think players would definitely min/max this system, players usually min/max everything. That is why there would need to be a balance to all that speed, such as lower health/strength.

    I'd be picturing someone being really fast but doing almost no damage. So players can go ahead and min max into being the fastest and hard to catch/ hit, but they won't be able to hurt that dwarf tank in full plate.
