In the coming months, we are thrilled to present a 3-Part Series, delving into each of our Three Pillars as we progress towards Alpha 2. This series aims to provide an in-depth exploration from a storytelling perspective. As the lore of **Gilded Venture** (Our Adventurer/Explorer Pillar) is now finalized and has reached a point that brings me great satisfaction, we will commence our journey there!
The inaugural video in this series will narrate the genesis of Gilded Ventures on Verra, unfolding the events that transpired before the Exodus.
The Next Video for Gilded Ventures, Part II, will depict its departure from Verra and to the world we (our characters) have only known. Sanctus.

It's the year of Ashes Of Creation & Gilded House Roleplay! With the news of Alpha 2 coming later this year, we are having our first community meeting of the new year tomorrow!
We have also welcomed House Calderon as they have joined our community over the holiday break, bringing in more talented roleplayers to the guild. As we continue to grow we are always looking to build relations with other communities in preparation for Alpha 2. The Obsidian Order traces its origins to the early days of House Kimura, initially consisting of a small group of personal guards. Over time, they gained the support of the Auvray family, known for their frontline presence and assistance in various territorial skirmishes and escort duties. With the assistance of Hedran Auvray, the Order was formally established, pledging allegiance to House Kimura. Hedran's son, Stea Auvray, was appointed as the inaugural Thane. Membership required rigorous training and a letter of recommendation, reflecting Hedran's vision of creating a steadfast Order ready to serve as both shield and sword for the House, embodying loyalty through an oath to the family.
Guild Meeting Update
We have made a commitment to our community to maintain momentum with our roleplay (RP) endeavors. By staying on track with our multitude of roleplay threads and live RP events, we have unveiled our comprehensive strategy to weave an interconnected story arc across all three pillars. Furthermore, we have actively sought feedback from our members regarding the progress of these initiatives. We have also extended an invitation to those interested in applying to become Mentors (Junior Officers) within our community, recognizing their potential to shape and guide our collective journey forward.
Additionally, we have provided detailed map information pertaining to our Sanctus storyline, accompanied by visual aids. Furthermore, we have engaged in discussions surrounding a recent PvP video that has come to our attention, fostering dialogue and excitement within our community.

I wanted to share a special music piece that was gifted to me by my dear friend Carlos. He surprised me with it today, and I was so moved that I quickly put together a video to share it with everyone. Please note that I couldn't include all the RP threads in the video, so I apologize if I missed any that are important to someone! Our community just hosted our 3rd Story Arc event of the year, closing a chapter, as we move to chapter 3 of our guild story. We've had a lot of fun, and have brought on two other communities, House Calderon, and House Raine to join our ranks and build their own stories within Gilded House Roleplay.

As we look towards Alpha 2, we have gotten more interest in having members of other, non-roleplay communities joining in on our guild stories. Because of that we have opened up an ambassador application for those members who are eager join in.
We are also opening up applications to build trade relations, shared PvX content, and node project alliances.

Greetings all! Gilded Houses continues to be the spot of good times and fun. We, House Calderon, Vassal House of the guild as a member of the community wishes to reach out to encourage individuals to join us in the Gilded House.
As part of the ever growing story of the guild, House Calderon seeks to plant ourselves as an influential and helpful player in the wider guild story. Primarily a martial house, we will be working inside the Obsidian Order branch of the guild, and look forward to the PVP and PVE encounters to be had! We are also working on our own internal story, where House Calderon is recovering from a ruined house into something worth its proud Empyrean heritage.
We are actively looking for new House players! Currently we seek:
-House Legionaries: House Guards who serve the combat role of the house, and intend to work
-House Servant: Seeking help for the Calderon family. There's 6 of us (and maybe more later), and we always welcome new friends to our employ.
-Farmers and Animal Handlers: Looking to serve a House who has some land and intends to have some in Verra? Look no further than House Calderon, as we aim to focus heavily on agriculture and animal taming! (Our House goal is to tame Drakes which is the symbol of our House)
To RP with House Calderon, you must be accepted to Gilded House. Apply just as you would normally, but when you select options, there is an option to request House Calderon as a vassal house!

I just wanted to share the next Music of Creation song, inspired by the Clan of the My'runji, my character's clan. My'runji Clan accepts new clan members, ensuring compatibility and harmony within the group, especially since the My'runji clan is a family tribe of Py'rai. This information highlights the inclusivity of Gilded House, which comprises members of all races, emphasizing Steven's narrative that there aren't individual factions in the game. Yet another piece completed for our Music of Creation Series. This one is really special for me as I got a chance to compose the actual musical portion of the song while working with Ari Cortez during a week that I had taken off for vacation! A small surprise for my guild mates as I didn't tell them that this is what I was doing in the morning hours and took the last few days from my vacation to disconnect from Discord so we could finish this song up! I know I said I wasn't going to do a vocal piece for a bit, but I felt inspired, and I have a great friend in Ari who has taught me some really neat composition tricks!
This piece is correctly titled "Goodbye Sanctus" in honor of the day when the game launches and we, as roleplayers, find ourselves entering the world of Verra. It was heavily inspired by the characters I've engaged with in the Guild House - and I couldn't help but think of our time when we have to say goodbye to the stories we told on Sanctus as we enter together into a new world.
