Glorious Alpha Two Testers!

Alpha Two Realms are now unlocked for Phase II testing!

For our initial launch, testing will begin on Friday, December 20, 2024, at 10 AM Pacific and continue uninterrupted until Monday, January 6, 2025, at 10 AM Pacific. After January 6th, we’ll transition to a schedule of five-day-per-week access for the remainder of Phase II.

    Why have a wipe if the enemy node can wipe you? lol
    PvE means: A handful of coins and a bag of boredom.

    Even if Ashes ever did wipes - one year is too soon. It's supposed to take months to reach Metro Stage.
    And there needs to be enough time for the server(s) to exprience several rises and falls of Metros.
    As well as the potential of several months with stable Metros.

    Also as Fantmx mentioned....
    Permadeath can be fine for a MEOW (Multipayer Evolving Online World).
    For RPGs, I prefer my characters to go through the Hero's Journey... similar to Drizzt... with plenty of good stories to experience for more than a real world decade.

    When I want to start a different character from scratch... I'll just create an alt.

    I have no issue with wipe cycles however AoC level speed is to slow for that, 45 days at 4-6 hrs a day is the rumor so casual probaly take like 3-6 months just to max their level let alone crafting skills and so on.
