Just to clarify for you: The Corruption system isn't there to stop PvP. It's not even there to stop you killing players that don't fight back. That's absolutely allowed. But if you're going to kill someone that's not fighting back, the Corruption system is there to make sure there are consequences for doing so.

Pk is just a game mechanic. This system is NOT designed to stop player killing. This system was introduced to get adrenaline and fun. Including to enter the game mechanics of bounty hunters! If Steven wanted to stop pk, he would remove this flagges system.

Steven's expressed his vision for his game, and it is what it is. He's comfortable with the fact that it won't be for everybody. Please do go and read the link I gave you above. It might help clear up some things for you.

Do you understand that this story was written to explain the debuffs? And not to give some sort of mysticism to the game mechanics? In fact, Stephen allows you to make pk in his game and that's cool. Do you understand how pk works? Do you understand how players adapt to this mechanic and what tricks they use? Do you know why people kill other people? It seems to me that in your head it looks like this: "Here you killed me, for this the supreme god cursed you and now you will feel pain and will never kill other players again"

if the game had no corruption system it could have a kill rights system, if you get wronged you would have the right to kill the other guy even within the city or when he is green. Would also extend the kill right to: guild, party and to bounty hunters.

Killing kill right targets would drop gear, if you pk too much then people would kill you over and over and strip you naked.

There it is, a better system with no spiritual mambo jambo as lore.

PvE means: A handful of coins and a bag of boredom.

I'm afraid we can't understand each other. All I want to say is that you are wrong in saying that this will break the system. It will only add new features

"Because the Corruption system is there to deter the killing of players that do not fight back."

this system is needed in order to make the gameplay more fun. And hold back the Pk population a bit. And this system is for entertainment pk and those who hunt them, and not for poor pve players. In any case, they will kill you and bypass the system of corruption xD
  • no. why should it. If you don't want to get corrupted, don't attack people not tagged for pvp
