    tbh i was thinking the same, but then i realized that i havent seen all the classes yet in full, so compared to other classes, the ranger might not be op at all

    People see a person casting a spell or holding a bow, hitting a person from distance and reflexively respond. I tried to post a topic about this but it got flagged for some reason. In this case there is literally no context, yet the response is the same lol.

    While it's possible to statistically balance range classes, you will never emotionally balance range classes. The latest stream is proof.

    I feel the opposite; the ranger is too stationary and easy to catch. Most skills involve attacking while standing still in position... I feel like we need more mobility skills in the ranger class

    I wouldn't categorize that as a positive. Maybe the spammer was unimpressed by the meme, saw few likes, and decided they should lose their value.

    Nothing we can do about.

    The admins can remove absolutely anything you see and interact with on this site. They can remove forum post views and user likes. So don't worry about it, even if it is not removed, those `likes` are as illusionary as they get.

    I don't care about likes lol.

    But the fact they got that many regardless.. grats :smile:

    I just looked at the Rangers skill tree from the dev stream. Yes I know we are not in alpha 2 yet but giving a range class with tab targeting combat a range snare, a disengage snare, range stun, a 50% crit increase buff, a mobile speed bust that drops all CC, a leap escape, on top of another class assigned escape skill, all the rapid dps as well as ae dps, possible stationary stealth, no min range distance for range weapons, no ammo requirements.....might as well give them self heals while we are at it then rename the game to Rangers of Creation cause I cant see any other class being played as much as this one.

    I mentally preparing for thousands of players named in some form of legolas, Aragorn, and/or Strider.

    PS bring back Crossbows

    How would there be overpowered gameplay if game pvp superiority is not achieved by class vs class balancing but by class selection for group makeup.

    By design, it is not intended to have various classes have ability to stand on their own against other classes.

    Funny thing about cross bows.. I feel like they're going to be repeater crossbows because of the projectile launch pacing. If bows can shoot that fast, cross bows are going to have to be somewhat similar.

    Just thinking as viewing comparisons between long bow vs short bow (recurve).

    With no min distance requirements on bows why would any ranger ever choose a melee weapon in their kit ?

    Probably to counter anyone meleeing your ass? I don't think full melee is a satisfying Ranger, but a combination could be interesting. How would a full melee kit even look like what is the Ranger fantasy playing like this? Traps, CC, blade dance combat with nature effects?
