    Since we are getting ships in Alpha 2, can we know more about the ship crafting process? For example, will we require Carpentry to make the helms and the mast? Tailoring for sails? Or maybe Arcane Engineering for cannons and other weaponry?
  • Will races and classes both get different utility skills that effect artisanship?

  • There was thread about esports from Ashes of Creation. And I commented on 1v1 pvp balance. In order to make that b racket flourish. Which would be true for every bracket 3v3, 8v8 and so. Standard modern day pvp MOBA game balance. So open world PvP would be balanced for Group PvP. And 1v1 bracket Balanced for 1v1 bracket the 2 are not exclusive of one another we could have both.

    Question is is Ashes of Creation going to have this type of pvp game balance. Not sugesting that Ashes of Creation balance the entire game around 1v1 just that type of pvp like Dueling.

    Throughout Phase 1, 2 and 3 there is no mention of a staff weapon even though we have seen a significant emphasis on staff gameplay throughout the last 3 years. When will we get staffs and how do scepters differ from wands and staffs?

    I have an erratic schedule that would make it hard for me to commit to wars, raids, etc. Will there still be enough content for me to do in the game? Are there ways for players who can't schedule their gaming time to still do content designed for groups?

    I'm very interested in the death penalty, what can you tell us about it? I loved FFXI and the death penalty was brutal... no one wanted to level down. I then played WOW where there is arguably no penalty as gold was easy to come by. EVE's penalty can also be very nasty.

    I think death should have real meaning, and it should be bad enough to where players don't want to die, but not so bad they rage quit. I know it is a fine line!
  • When will we get more information on Damage Types and their relationship to Gear Progression, Class Progression, and various PvX encounters?

    You had mentioned in the past that Player-Held Castles could be attacked monthly.

    Does this mean that if a Castle is not attacked monthly - by players - will the NPC Monsters which originally held the Castle, attempt to retake their Castle from these Players? If so, will this be a Monster Coin event that Players can join to assist the NPC Monsters in reclaiming their Castle? (please do this)

    Will there be a way to disable transmog/cosmetics? Maybe so that you personally don’t see it even though other players will. My favorite part of old MMOs was visual progression and transmog/cosmetics have taken this aspect out of MMOs. I have also found transmog/cosmetic heavy games tend to lack interesting loot throughout the leveling process with the expectation that no one will use the default visuals.

    Based on the data collected throughout the Alpha and Beta phases, will you consider significantly increasing the time it takes to reach the max level? Currently, we expect the majority of players to reach it within 1-2 months. This rapid progression will essentially force you to focus on max-level content in future updates and expansions. Longer progression can still be enjoyable, especially if there were no systems gated behind the max level, such as owning freeholds, and plenty of things to do.

    Dual wield daggers specifically have been mentioned earlier, but not so much about dual wielding in general. Will I be able to dual wield other one handed weapon types and if yes will there be a weapon skill tree for dual wielding. Will this skill tree in that case replace the specific weapon type trees or will you have multiple weapon trees active at the same time?

  • When will we learn more specifics about how impactful the subclass will affect the primary class? So for example, you recently stated that bard would not be nearly as good a healer as a cleric, but would a bard healing be more analogous to a cleric healer's competency if the bard chose the cleric subclass?
  • Will every object in the game have a physical representation for decorating purposes, such as weapons and armor, trophies from legendary kills, and animals for our own custom-decorated shops, house-room displays, and business establishments?

    Is there planned to be an active style of mitigation with shields for tanking in the future? - not based on cooldowns, but simply something like a right click to hold block, draining a resource, e.g. stamina?

    You have talked extensively of the ways rivaling nodes can hurt each other. Wars, Sieges, Caravan Robbery being the primary ones. All of these are very pvp heavy. Is there ways to hurt a rivaling node without a direct pvp component, like sacrificing resources/gold to put a curse/debuff on the node (reducing tax income, respawn/growth rates...) or hiring highwayman, inciting riots that reduce caravan movement speeds or EXP gain?
  • Does the overall pressure on the project increase now that you are competing in the cutting edge of server meshing? (as only a hand full to me known projects seriously try to achieve this)

    How do you guys intend to balance the desire for compelling and challenging PvE encounters (and rewards) and the potential for PvP to override PvE content in an open world setting, thus no longer making said "PvE" content strictly PvE?

    Can you elaborate on the potential of instancing and/or boss room locks or summons?

    Are there any plans for alternate character friendliness (i.e. having some things be account bound instead of all individually character bound)?
  • What are some ways that individuals will
    feel a sense of accomplishment in one play session? Many systems are setup where accomplishments are long term and cooperation heavy like node upgrades.
  • With the merchant escort quests, is there any plan to tie those into auction house purchases? (eg. a player could buy an item/ items from another node and pay more to create quest in the other node to transport the items)
