I know you have things in place to stop griefing but it wont work, if you're gamers you know the levels folk will go to in order to grief others. No one with honour ganks and thats all open world pvp is. Adding that you lose XP on death you have a system that no one wants. Asmon video of him being harrased straight out the gate, will turn thousands away, honesntly if i knew nothing about the game and didnt already put hundreds towards (I really need to stop doing that, pantheon rise of the fallen if DOA, im never trying it and now it seems like you will fail me also) If Asmon's video was my first introduction to Ashes id completely avoid it. Fix this or enjoy a DOA game.

Look, if you want a pure PvE experience, you’ve got options like World of Warcraft (or as we sometimes call it, World of Carebears) or Final Fantasy Online, both fantastic if you’re into story and crafting without any pesky PvP. Ashes of Creation is trying something different—a true PvX hybrid where PvE and PvP are connected to create a more dynamic world. Steven’s been pretty clear about this game’s design, and it’s not trying to be all things to all players. It’s okay if that’s not your thing; there are plenty of MMOs out there that are PvE-focused. Now, I’ll agree that there should be safe zones for true beginners and a solid corruption system to handle any griefers, especially for the first few levels. After that? The training wheels come off, and that’s the thrill of Ashes. It’s designed to be challenging, and frankly, it’d be a missed opportunity if the PvE didn’t push players enough to prepare them for the world beyond those early zones. So, if you're after easy mode, there’s plenty out there already. Ashes of Creation isn’t supposed to be ‘PvE-only,’ and that’s a big part of what sets it apart. Embrace the difference, or maybe stick to safer shores—Ashes isn’t trying to be just another game.
