So then don't play on the ones they choose?
Edit: These posts also never take into account the actual size of the completed world. The drama that's happening with the alpha will not be happening at the scale it is when the game is launched.
The alpha map size is what.. 1/5th of the whole map size?
If you think streamers are going to have the same influence in a world that big with travel times as they (rightfully) are, you are overreacting
Can you show me where Intrepid said they wouldn't be doing that already?
What do you mean? This is just my suggestion

Since co-streaming is likely to be popular and having a public stream feud is more likely to attract viewer then having a public vs private feud, then the creator experience, as well as the community experience, will be enhance by this condition.
The content creator program server are also likely to grow faster, because of leadership, and therefor to be more competitive. Which is also going to be an incentive for some hardcore guild who are looking forward to that kind of environment increasing the overall balance if they play their card right.
Seems kind of silly, do you ban anyone with a twitch account?
how many viewers does a streamer need before they are a ''streamer''
what about youtube content creators?
what happens if your guild decides to make some youtube content? should your GM be banned?
Why are you punishing people that have a bigger friends list than you?
What if a streamer plays ashes off-stream and never streams but they gain a following anyway?
There is so much to unpack when you try to "remove streamers"
Lets say we do remove streamers, now instead of the streamers being your problem, the largest guild is the problem. Are you the largest guild? are you just trying to benefit yourself by removing big streamer guilds?
If you arent the largest guild, you have the same problems except now its "please make a server for zerg guilds" instead of "streamer guilds"
I dont think the anti streamer crowd really understand that removing the streamers is neither a simple or effective solution. and the real problem is youre upset you arent playing with a large group of players.
