Ok guess i got your view, and even tho this didnt change my view on the things, i doubt my explanations will change yours either.
just want to ask 1 last thing:
@Ace1234
Why do you think that having corruption in boss areas is better than boss areas being free pvp areas? (not talking about the whole world map obviously, just the area around the bosses)
Its not that its "better" its just different. Boss areas being open free pvp areas can already be a thing in hunting grounds and open seas and whatnot. What can't happen in those open pvp areas is the surprise of someone choosing to go corrupt. You already expect people to pvp in pvp areas, wheras in corruption enabled areas there is more of that prediction/surprise aspect of whether someone will pvp because there is a certain expectation of peace through the corruption deterrent. Its just an opportunity for more drama compared to the pvp zones where the focus is more on that pvx war aspect. You can still have that pvx stuff in corruption enabled areas, but it will be more spontaneous and less common, due to the tuning of penalties/rewards which allow it to take place while still preserving pve dedicated content to an extent (for when its not worth it to go corrupt), which is also important for providing a variety of experiences.
Yeah, good talk though.
No, picture this since the landscape gets corrupted then in those areas player should gain corruption much slower, so in thise case killing 6 players in a heavy corrupted area should gain the same amount of corruption as killing one lower level player in the newbie area.... something in those lines, got it?
And I wonder if the flagging shouldnt be for the entire part, lets say if the leader decides the party is green then the entire party is green, if he decides the party is purple then the entire party becomes purple
well sounds like possible solution.
And yes i agree that the flagging should be shared, And not only the flagging but the corruption also.
