New Week Updates Crashed Box

As the title states i'm wondering if anyone else has had issues with the new updates. I noticed they were delayed several times in starting for the week. My dad had to completely reinstall his OS to get his game to run. Mine ran horribly until I gave up playing and I tried a reinstall, then an OS reinstall too. Even the install failed several times. It would just freeze indefinitely and with the white loading circle rotating.
