LeywosLeywos Member, Founder, Kickstarter, Alpha Two, Early Alpha Two
I compare tax Joeva node ask for me and my friend.
We became citizen the same day, we have the same level (23)
I do more Mayor quest and buy order than him

I had to pay 90 tax receipt for 15 days and he had to pay 16 tax receipt.

The only diff i see : He craft more than me in Joeva, i need to go to Desert node to craft for tayloring :(

I believe it works like this: The fuller the node, the more the tax. It is a form of population control. If you become an early adopter of a node, your taxes are cheaper. I had friends who were citizens of Winstead before me, and their taxes were 32. Mine were 72. I do not know what those taxes give you since I haven't found a clear explanation. I hope this helps some.

I beleive it based on when u joined the node as citizen earlier you are the cheaper it is. Desert nodes are cheap atm too and when they finish reworking the desert it might be a popular place to live so u have the option to move there and hope desert good when they revamp it with POI and dungeons sometime soonish :P

This sounds sus. So unless you join day one minute 1 you will be taxed out the wazoo. That'll be nice for incoming players.

It takes me killin mobs around Mira on my alt for about 15-20 mins to buy 90 taxes....I keep glint in the bank and when it is time I just pay them. Its not that big of a deal...

So the first ones to arrive to the node, will literally pay the lesser taxes, even if they don't contribute ever to the node more.
Taxes receipts should find a more equitative way to calculate its cost, such us contribution to the node...

Yep it's not good, you can lower your tax by doing quest but i try to do mayor quest, each day i can, doing commission too and i move from 97 to 90 ...
