Request: remove menu when right clicking mobs

I use the right mouse button to auto attack. It's something I'm very used to from every other MMO I've played. Using the right mouse button when hovering over a mob in AoC also bring up a menu with the "Mark" option, which has been really frustrating for a long time now. This menu also shows up if you right click on the unitframe. Could this menu not be assigned to the unit's unitframe only? It's been really intrusive on my gameplay in the past because it pops up right on top of the mob.

Good point. I'd actually like to see more modifier + keybind solutions to implementing UI functionality. I made a suggestion a while ago of using a solution like that to bring up menus with comprehensive and effective solutions for storage: sorting, moving bulk items along with drag & drop functionality, stacking, etc.
Another solution would be a radial menu. Usually these open either through long press or as part of a keybind combo. You see these in a lot of games, but as this is an MMO I'll point to WoW and Eve-Online as great examples. Eve has long press radial menus which offer a great deal of functionality in a very compact and easy to access format. WoW uses them with their ping system or through an addon called Opie.
I think there are some amazing ways to add a lot of functionalities into the game through radial menus, so that might be worth considering. I think for RP players alone, customizable rings with emotes on them would be great. The options are incredible. Access to all your favorite mounts on a single ring, no need to clutter the hotbars. Access to all your potions on a single ring. Access to specific non critical spells that you don't want cluttering the hotbar, like professions based actions. All this can done without intruding on your UI / hotbars and still be fast and accessible. By using subrings you can dramatically expand this functionality even more - I'd look at Opie for WoW as a great example of this.
Edit: I like visual examples so here is one from Opie in WoW and One from Eve-Online.
WoW's own version of the radial menu:
