Welcome to Enoa
"Empyreans need only apply"

Wanting to join a Guild exclusively for fellow Empyreans?

Lets develop a Scientific Node
For development, lore friendliness and immersion, let's exit the Pyrian Divine Gateway and head North-West, earning XP until we proc an Expedition of Scholars. (Somewhere in or around the Red circle below)

Looking to make a small guild of 30 - 50 members, to take advantage of the Guild skill options.
(Better guild skills options for smaller guilds, so hopefully there will be other Empyrean guilds in the same area to form a Guild Alliance with, then we should have an Alliance Discord as well)
If this Guild doesn't sound like you, but you do want to be a part of an Empyrean only guild, please get in touch, as we would like to know of other Empyrean only guilds in the area to be ally's with.

Please watch Paradox Gaming Network on YouTube to get clued up or check out his Ashes101.com
If you want to use my referral, it'll be greatly appreciated https://ashesofcreation.com/r/69I33E2RFNRPCM2Y

If you'd like some reasons as to why I chose this location and Node type, I've listed a few.

1. Easy to find, upon exiting the Divine Gateway, head North to the forest, then keep heading North West along forest edge until you cross a river.
2. Will be easily visible from a distance instead of hiding in the Forest. (Maybe a Vassal religious node in the Forest would be nice?)
3.Will require rams and other war gear to cross a bridge or proceed through a forest if a siege is declared.
4.Central on the overall map of Verra. Good place for a trading hub (Economy vassal node closer to or at ocean side?)
5. (Hopefully) Able to teleport across entire peninsula to vassal nodes once it is a Metropolis.
6.Good distance from resources, South of a mountain range, close to the Titanbark Forest and not far from the central Verran ocean.
7.Far enough away from starter camp and influence of any Py'rai Nodes that may be trying to advance faster.
8.Central location in Verra is a great place for another Scientific Metropolis to set up aerial travel point. More trade, more places to get to faster to do some questing, more gold. (Metropolis pending)
9.Being an ally of another Scientific Metropolis Node who would want to keep access to this part of the map would provide a lot of ally's in the event of a siege. (Scientific Metros get airships or something of the sort)
10.Because Empyrians are best. Seriously though, if you want to live in a place with Empyrean architecture, it'd make sense to have as many Empyrean come from the same area.

Thanks for considering Enoa

    Thank you Nagash
Hopefully we are helping to progress the same node(s)
I'd very much like to see an Empyrean Metropolis

Welcome Behague! Glad to have another OCE guild on board. Will hopefully catch you in the upcoming Apoc testing!
  • Thank you Atheto,
I'm looking forward to it, though have not played an MMO in some time.
Here's hoping I can hold my own.
  • Well I would certainly be interested as well. I love gaming in different regions.

Now that we have a Map, we will be looking at entering through the South East Divine Gateway. During Alpha and Beta, hopefully a Scientific Node is found, so during launch we can get started on that.

Glad to hear it! I'm looking forward to working together to help build an Empyrean themed City or Metro and acquiring homes within. Should be an exciting goal.

Hope to have a poll going closer to launch about what profession and archetyps people want to play. Those willing to just do anything could hopefully fill in the places we are lacking.

  • Hello,

once we get to a higher stage, will the guild be competing for A Castle? will there be some small competitiveness in this guild?

and having fun and learning about the game of course..
  • Hello,

once we get to a higher stage, will the guild be competing for A Castle? will there be some small competitiveness in this guild?

Absolutely, the plan is to get those on board working towards their personal goals, which I am sure a lot of which will be, even if its just to see many more of the games dynamics such as Dungeon raids, Castle seiges, etc

Also i am expecting and hoping that some people who join just feel like hanging out, maybe just crafting or processing with the guild and socialising. I dont want to pressure anyone in to doing things they don't want to.

As for competitiveness, I sure hope so, a lot of people thrive off of this, and it is fun to have those challenges, and having prizes is always a good incentive.
  • Hi all, have just added Discord
    https://discord.gg/f8R68xf
Its pretty empty in there right now, but as Alpha 1 comes out of NDA, it can be a great place for our guild to plan and talk about what we'd like to do in game once released 😁

I want to go Py'rai - is that close enough?
I wish I were deep and tragic

If there were to be outsiders, a Py'rai or two would be it.

I'll have to keep an eye on this guild as it gets closer to game time. Looks interesting!

Hi Zander, thanks for your messages. I see you on Discord, great to have ya there.
  • Awesome. I was hoping for a guild like this. Good location picked also. It also leaves alot of room for Freeholds that area ...I'm in !! Hopefully others of this race will join us. The building designs for this race look great too. And the armor!!
  • @Urgehal Glad to have you on board!
Yeah, fair bit of space for those freeholds, got the Altar of the Venerated, which I'm hoping might make a good place for any Guild meetings/photo ops.
  • Wondering though. Will a Node be in that spot? I know the starting area for Empyrean elves is on the far right of where the Pyrai are starting. I'd be open to both races for recruitment..strength in numbers. Lol @Behague

Will a Nodes ZOI be in that Spot? Most definitely.
Will it be a Scientific one? We'll have to find out.
If a Scientific Node happens to not be in that spot, we just have to search near to that area until we proc an expedition of Scientist.

As for starting areas, no one knows for absolute certainty yet. We can all only speculate as Intrepid themselves haven't confirmed which starting camp is which. I'm a firm believer that the Py'rai are to the east in the dank looking forest, whereas the Empyrean have the Autumn Hue coloured forest, but like I said, its only my speculation.

Instead of strength in numbers, I'm looking to make a tight knit group, of 97% Empyrean. With maybe 1 or 2 Py'rai max. There are Guild Skills that players can benefit from for being in a smaller guild. And I'm also hoping there is a bonus for being over 90% one race in a Guild.

This is not to say I dont want to be a part of any alliances though, with any other guild trying to achieve the same goal (Primarily an Empyrean themed Metro), but who might have different ideas on Guild population or playstyle etc. I'd like a team who are interested in the entire scope of what AoC has to offer. Some Guilds may be entirely Artisan Centric, or based around PvP. And I'd be more than happy to trade with or hire their services, keeping the Alliance of Guilds profiting.
  • That sounds good to me. I have both pvp and pve experience. I played WoW for years then SWTOR for years. And was on a ranked pvp team for both. Plus the raids/operations in both. Hoping closer to launch they have a guild recruiting section on their website. SWTOR did that and our whole guild was together pretty much from launch. When I said strength in numbers I meant for guild castle sieges. But far as Nodes. Like to have Empyrean elf dominated so the buildings have their style. Guess we will see ..I but I rather have a smaller guild with skilled players than a huge guild with unskilled or assholes. Atleast unskilled can be shown what to do or helped. @Behague
  • Location I hope to find a Scientific Node

With this months release of "The Root of Conquest Cosmetic" I hope to see a few guild members with maybe their own set of greaves, Redoubtable Ram Pet or even a Lightfoot Leveret Mount! Looking at the Solemn Promenade myself, but waiting to find out if I can have both the Altar of the Venerated and the Solemn Promenade skin active on my freehold at the same time...

The Revas Order will be mostly Empyrean elves with a few other races intermingled. We however will be on a NA Guild also looking to be a scientific node. More to come soon. If you have questions about our guild please dm me at Dezzrevas#2106

From the original plan, the Island of Elyrium has now
    -flipped horizontally,
-the 'Grasslands' on the peninsula have shrunk
-the 'Magical Forest' has expanded and has a visible island within a lake and river system
-the north side of the peninsula has been rounded off
-more of the peninsula connects to the 'Ancient Forest'

This provides a lot of security now that it is no longer in the centre of the map

This image also assumes Divine Gateway is still (roughly) in the same area.
