Hearing our pleas, the goddess Norlan reveals that the colossal quarrior and our mysterious gem have been contorted by corruption - twisting our minds, thoughts, and actions towards increasingly dark deeds.

    Obviously keep it. This whole "Corruption is bad m'kay" the Seven have going is just propaganda to keep us down! Can't have light without darkness, and we can't be a complete being without a little corruption to keep things in perfect balance.

    As much as I like breaking thing. Especially the skulls of invaders. If there is a chance we can become a Lich I would put it on a pedestal next to my bed every night and carry it around all day.
    We worked far to hard for this thing. As Rick famously said " Never gonna give you up!"
    Most people never listen. They are just waiting on you to quit making noise so they can.

    I would keep the jewel and if I'm strong enough, store it somewhere safe till we find a way to cleanse it. Otherwise hide it somewhere no one will find it. Don't want to destroy it because it might release the corruption inside into the world. :wink:

    We could sell lottery tickets for someone to have the privilege of destroying the gem for us.
    • sell tickets to see the event
    • merch with a "I was there when the gem was destroyed" (TM) Logo.
    • license the food and drink sales at the event.

    And at the same time delegate the risk associated with destroying the gem to someone else. Brilliant.

    Well, it's a cursed & evil corrupted energetic gem, I'd expect at least a huge explosion if you guys shatter that thing. For worse it could even spew all its corruption over the entire village in one go ;). Then we might end up with a village of tulnars. Oh no.

    Let's keep that gem :)
    And if you HAVE to dispose of the gem, at least stab the gemmed sword into a stone, then leave a stone tablet saying something like "whoever pulls this sword shall be the true king of Britain" etc. next to it.
