I am upset that people belittle voices asking for attractive and distinct female outfits, male copy paste. Valid feedback. Once again the monthly design it's just a copy paste. Nothing to do with realistic. Nothing to do with the whole "no to bikini armor". Dont try to twist my words. I didn't twist your words... what are you even talking about at this point? It's a discussion people have back and forths and will express different opinions. Period. I could do without your last 2 posts and nothing would change. You added nothing. You stated the obvious, and managed to contradict yourself.

I've been consistant with my statements however you've added absolutely zero to this discussion and just devolved into complaining about others opinions. So, please continue to complain and add nothing of value, I'm done with this "conversation".

The reason I am suggesting to make it optional is so people can dress as feminine or masculine or neutral as the player choses. This aids players self expression. Different armor styles as well as jewelry and makeup would be very helpful in this goal. I understand that you would like to keep things on the more practical side but this could be stifling to the communities creativity. Self expression and fashion is very important to me as a player I would like as many options as possible in creating my character.

I dont care if you are a magic user, if youve got 6 inch heels on and running, jumping, fighting et cetera that is just rediculous. Balance is still a thing in magical worlds. Just because a world is magical doesnt mean we have to throw all realism out the window.

I think we still have yet to see a large majority of the different gear appearances in the game (whether in-game achievable or cosmetic). With that said, I think there may be gear sets in the future that please some who are concerned about this! Steven has said he doesn't like the idea of 'bikini armor' but hasn't ruled out form-fitting gear appearances, or more revealing ones ^_^ If you have thoughts on this and you're just happening to see this thread, please feel free to drop your thoughts in a comment! There's definitely a huge middle ground between Bikini armor and Brienne of Tarth. You can have fashionable armor that covers most or all of a character. I would suggest taking a look at Aion's Chain armor sets for Cleric/Chanter over the years. They've been incredibly creative in making armor that looks like armor but still looks attractive. Some quick pics I found while searching (note: These look better in game but I can't find real screenshots right now!): The thighs are a bit ugly on this second one but the rest of the set is nice.

This part right here, this precise part is the part where you have to understand that this is entirely your opinion in every way and that giving you what you want is not as good (in total) as doing what FFXIV does. And this is the ONLY reason I hope Intrepid ignores your opinion, not even your desire. I hope they make lots of gear. I hope they make it fit both approx the same, and I hope they make something that you like on your female character. But I absolutely do not hope that 'the equivalent of the Female Bale Set in FFXIV' looks different because you happen to not like full plate armor. EDIT: Out of curiosity actually, which of the two Hattori ones is 'correct' to you?

EDIT: Out of curiosity actually, which of the two Hattori ones is 'correct' to you? I don't want unisex armor. Armor should be fit and designed differently for male vs female. I do want choices and a variety in armor and that's the entire point of this thread. I do however, expect armor to be designed appropriately for the characters they're supposed to be made for. For your Hattori one it doesn't look great on either one of them. The colors and style are more masculine to me so I don't like it on the female, but the male's outfit doesn't quite look right, either. If he had shoulderpads it might make more sense to me and be a decent leather-styled set.
