I'd hate for Tropics and Desert to share the same trade chat as they are way too far away form each other. Hoplefully 'global' goes away too in favour of localized node chats for the node you are currently in (which is different from citizen chat) Or even a region chat. Separate globals and trade for Riverlands, Desert and Tropics. Maybe even have it so you can 'sign up' for chats even if you aren't currently there - so if you were in Miraleth maybe you could sign up for Desert and Riverlands but if you are in Halcyon you could sign up for Riverlands and Tropics.

Agreed. I think regional trade might be better for this game. Or maybe even continental?
