Not true all the time tbh, lots of scenarios I could think of but imagine someone comes in, trains you with 15 mobs, kills you steals your loot, by the time you get back there not purple so you kill them, are you really the griefer?

That's a game balance issue that needs to be addressed. No one should be put in that situation.
