FEEDBACK - DELETION OF FEEDBACK POSTS
I just want to say that is is a really bad look when a general piece of feedback and discussions on a new features being added to the game is removed by the moderation team on the forums. There was no issue with the post or the idea of the posts. Use want feedback but cant take the sometimes harsh reality of the feedback because a system use have designed is broken or downright bad for the majority of the player base. Wondering if anyone else has had this happen to their posts? Randomly deleted or removed from the forums seemingly for no reason at all?

As an example of how this isn't actual moderation, I will now tell you all to calm the fuck down, and you can watch how this post isn't removed.
You have been given a reason - it was probably caught up in anti-spam efforts.
False positives are literally an inevitability with them. Any system that doesn't have a few casualties is also not dealing with spam at all.
Edit to add; that said, there IS moderation here, it just that there is a fairly high threshold for when they step in. If you doubt that there was much wrong with a post, then you definately didn't get anywhere near where Intrepid would step in, meaing it wasn't taken down by moderation - leaving anti-spam filtering as the only thing left.
who are you lol were you in the room when it happened?
They aren't implementing it, they are using the system that comes with the forum software they use.
You seem overly aggressive towards someone that is giving you the only answer you are going to get.
It is literally industry standard.
It tends to happen mostly with people that sign up to forums and start threads before posting in existing ones. This is not considered "standard forum user behavior" in a general sense, and is in fact why many forums have an "introduce yourself" or similar section.
It is absolutely not a bad reflection on Intrepid at all (believe me, I have enough negative things to say about them). It is just how these things are.
You are acting overly pompous white knighting a thing as if its in anyway acceptable.
The spam filter surely isn't perfect, but it helps to prevent turning this forum into an advertising hell
I mean, I'm right.
You'll note that I said it mostly happens with people that sign up to a forum and start a thread without posting in others, not that it only happens in this situation.
I am wondering if the two of you feel a little silly with how aggressively you dismissed the actual and true answer you were given - I know I would.
Forum spam filters have a lower ratio of false positives than cancer testing. Of course the occasional false positive is acceptable.
Stop being so damn dramatic.
If you didn't sound so arrogant, others might react differently.
I don't know you personally, obviously, but you come across as insufferable.
I usually just blow by your posts because I haven't bothered to figure out the ignore feature.. but I understand being misunderstood, even if that's not the position you feel you're in.
Being autistic I often experience bewilderment at other's thinking. Some things are *so* clear and obvious to me I cannot fathom how others can't see it. Or when the next logical step isn't the one chosen. I scream inside and am speechless.
I also know that the problem lies with me, and that my rigid black & white thinking is what needs to be tempered. I purposely phrase (mask) things as 'guesses', as frank and clipped speech is not the norm and puts people off. I don't want to be seen as an asshole because that is not my intention, I am simply speaking in my natural clutter-free way.
TLDR: If you don't want to be seen as an AHOLE, you should try not to sound like one.
However, I don't. No, that problem doesn't lie with you. You are basically saying it is your fault that other people can't see logic.
If you care what other people think about you, that is a problem that lies with you. I don't have that problem.
This is literally my take as well. Pity there isnt an ignore button
Awww its ok buddy not everyone is always correct and sometimes you just have to accept your wrong maybe not this time but in the future you might accept your wrong
