Freehold Upkeep Cost

Looking at freeholds as they currently sit, there needs to be a change.

Currently I see several freeholds that that are actively doing nothing or are gatekeeping the content from other who would love to interact with and report on any complications.

The idea that I have to dissuade people from grabbing freeholds to block content is to change the upkeep cost to own one. As I currently understand glint is how you pay for your home which is too easy to farm.

I would like freeholds to cost town specific currency gained from mayoral town commissions. This would encourage freehold owners to be a productive members of society as well as force mayors to post town commissions..

    Content blocking is something that Ashes is designed to facilitate.

    People getting hold of a freehold as a means of content blocking are testing the game out as much as someone getting a freehold for crafting purposes.

    That said, the property tax system currently seen is just a placeholder system.

    Most freehold are doing nothing cause there bugged and not giving what they should for example willow tree on freehold give oak wood last i check so there tree no one harvesting cause they waitng for a fix there :P

    tbh the freehold probaly wont get fixed till they do the freehold patch and expanded on
