Glorious Alpha Two Testers!

Alpha Two Phase III testing has begun! During this phase, our realms will be open every day, and we'll only have downtime for updates and maintenance. We'll keep everyone up-to-date about downtimes in Discord.

If you have Alpha Two, you can download the game launcher here, and we encourage you to join us on our Official Discord Server for the most up to date testing news.

Make the purple flag gained from applying beneficial effects copy the duration from the target

Example: If, while fighting mobs, 1 member hits someone outside the party, intentional or not, and then goes back to fighting mobs
Currently: Every Cleric and Bard in the party remains purple indefinitely unless said archetypes very intentionally use no AoE, or the group takes a break

With this change: While the Clerics and Bards would still turn purple, the whole party's purple flags will fall off in the time it would take a single person's purple flag to fall off (1 min afaik)

I believe there's a setting that prevents your positive effects from going towards a flagged partymember. If they got flagged, while the party doesn't want to pvp - that's a them problem.

They removed this with the new flagging system. If any one flags within your party, and you are a bard or cleric, you will most likely get flagged too. After that bards and clerics can and do pass back and forth a never ending purple flag without ever attacking another player.

Isn't the third option in the pvp settings the one that would defend against this? The "don't use aoe on untargetted combatants"? Or does that not work?

I'd imagine that as long as you don't target your mates - you shouldn't be going purple.

If that's not the case then, yeah, this is a huge oversight and Intrepid should fix that shit.
