Next to Zero PVP in a PVX game plz fix

Game has been pushed into testing phases as a pvx game, but 90% + now easily is PVE, Can we have more things to do based on PVP during test, thank you!

Don't we have caravans? Don't we have wars? Don't we have lawless zones? Don't we have lawless seas? Don't we have a wholeass flagging system?

That's already way more content than pvers have. But it sure seems that all the "pvpers" are not interested in pvp testing :)

If there is one thing playing Archeage showed me, it is that the vast, vast majority of MMORPG players would rather just get on with the game than fight other players. In that game, 95% of players would rather craft and run their own packs, as opposed to hunting players that they can steal packs from. To this vast, vast majority, PvP is something you accept as a possibility when you are doing certain things.

Based on thay, my assumption will always be that most players in a game like Ashes will accept an amout of PvP, but won't go out looking for it. That seems to track quite well with what we are seeing.

There needs to be much more natural lead ins to PvP not the warzones that were implemented this phase. As Noaani said a majority of players don't want to force into PvP but would accept there is possible PvP. So if there was something that lead up to a conflict over a reward sure. AOC just doesn't have that right now.

Yep, which is exactly why I've always said that we need proper war design and corruption balancing.

People that want to pvp CAN pvp, and it's easy to fight others that do, but just murdering anyone you want is not that easy.

Steven seems to want the opposite: easy genocide and very difficult way to organize proper pvp. And now we see what his design leads to. I've heard that people in lawless zones get surprised when they get attacked by other players :D And everyone else just avoids it.

But I'd bet that all Steven hears is "omg, there's 0 pvp in the game, give us MORE pvp". And now we're getting corruption zones that will do exactly that. And my prediction that people will never even enter those zones and the Harbingers event will simply be a permament thing on the map.

Damn.. It's like testing comes in cycles and they don't want us to test PVP right now. Don't you hate it when there are other things in the game than the thing that you want to do?

I like pve and pvp,,,, that being said:

"That's already way more content than pvers have. But it sure seems that all the "pvpers" are not interested in pvp testing"

If pvpers had more content that provided rewards, You would have people LFGing for groups to go roam PVP, or small groups roaming PVP. All day long you see people, "Gear grinding" LFG, and lfging for pve, and people gathering all over, people afk camping static spawns for hours on end.

I See 4000%+ easy more pve in this game than pvp on in given day, Even If I go to lawless zones, and the sea
    PVE content with rewards
    Crafting
    Gathering
    Mob Griding
    Boss Kill
    Crates

    PVP with rewards
    Caravans/Boats

Ideas: -Be only able to take your flag off close to a town, If your flag is on, get a gather bonus
    - Delete the corruption system: you can not flag up and kill another player who is unflagged
What is the whole point of this system anyways?
    - Lawless zones, give points you can use to spend on quality upgrades when crafting, or an item that you can sell that is needed for crafting, or they can personally use
    - Handful of gatherable that only spawn in lawless zones, increase size of zone by x8 and time by x3
-Players gain, PVP ranking with kills in that ranking system they get points they can use to get other PVP/PVE related talents
Need more open world PVP things that have a risk and reward, that all can do, solo's, small groups, Full groups. Maybe crates broke it, saw a lot more caravans running in 2.0 and 2.5

Ehhh, they've added a literal shitton of pvp systems. If they didn't want us to test it - why add that shit?

On the contrary, we need more PvE content: quests, instances, raids - stuff you can do with friends without worrying that some bored ganker will wipe you just because he's got nothing else to do. I like coming home after work and relaxing in the game with my friends - the key word here is "relax", not cranking up my blood pressure in PvP. Most players are already adults, and we get enough PvP at work and in real life. In the game, we want to explore the world and have a good time.

We have "WOW" , Guildwars, EQ and a few others. Steven has made it clear , will be a PVX game. The time will come when we see more PVP imo. I am just hoping it is PVP with intent to earn something, or challenging. Not just a gank box
