Is there a conspiracy for why the summoner is the only archetype we can't play yet? Is it coincidentally just the last one worked on? Or is it possible that Nintendo really did copy write the class 'summoner' for an rpg?

    It's simply the hardest one to make, cause you need to give players the ability to control a whole different entity.

    Also, afaik it's fully available on PTR and will literally be in the game on Dec11 release.

    Nintendo has been sue happy. Good reason to avoid any nintendo products for a while. Still can't believe they tried to copy right an entire genre of games.

    But It's as Ludullu said, it's playable, it's called summoner, its on the ptr, and it should be in on the 11th.

    It plays like a warlock though, not like a FF summoner. I like it, dot damage, and versatile. No reason not to bring two or even more into your party. It's probably the most solo friendly class too.

    The Summoner was the last of the archetypes to be completed. It is now available on PTR and will be available with the update on December 11 on the main Alpha Two realms.
