how people are crying over the fired scam employees? Why are they like this? Thousands of jobs cut a year yet these children will only ever cry over game devs. To all the ashes employees, get fucked shouldn't have signed up for a scam like the consumers lmao

I don’t give a damn about the employees, everyone has their own shit to deal with. The people crying over Margaret Krohn are the same ones who blindly idolized Steven Sharif and pushed away anyone who dared to criticize the game.

The developers will find work again easily, I don’t doubt it. But I hope the entire management team gets totally blacklisted by the video game industry, because they couldn’t not have known. They should have sounded the alarm, and they didn’t.

I hope justice will be served and put things back where they belong.

I’m thinking of those who spent hundreds, even thousands of euros, whose only mistake was trusting these scammers.

I get you're upset. I see all your posts recently. Your going in hard. It's obvious you don't know much and if your an adult you haven't actually grown up. You have the perspective of a child. You paid for something and didn't get what you want, therefore, scam.

You're allowed to feel that way and your allowed to scream it as much as you want. That's fine, but the rest of us don't have to feel that way, especially when it comes to industry professionals that spend their days building the games that we spend our days playing.

You know I'm defending Margret right now, and you also know I've been intensely critical of the game over the last few years, including stating over three last 6 months to a year that I don't think the game will be financially viable.

I'm not going to stop you being angry, but I hope you read my posts and direct that anger where it should be directed - squarely at Steven right now, unless/until we find out more information about the "board" that Steven talked about.

The staff at Intrepid deserve more than you just saying you don't care. Sure, many of then will find jobs again, but most of them will need to move cities. That means leaving friends, uprooting children from good situations, as well as all the rest of what moving entails.

You can absolutely say that this is what they signed up for by being an MMORPG developer, but the same can be said of us, we all knew this was a possibility when we decided to back an unreleased MMO by an unproven developer whose lead developer (now creative executive) had never even worked in software before, let alone one a game, or an MMORPG.

We signed up for this. It sucks for us all, but it sucks for Intrepids staff more.
