I like it. Instead of the eternal summer vibes from Lothlorien and other elfy forests in other universes, we get to see them freeze and be miserable in the winter like the rest! Well, except for the DĂĽnir and the Tulnar of course.

Why would we ever be miserable in the winter? We don't even sink in deep snow.
The reason you don't see elves in winter forests is the same reason they generally didn't see Simo Häyhä.

Underrealm Noodles
Ingredients:
1 tablespoon sesame oil
3 teaspoons grated ginger
4 teaspoons grated garlic
4 cups chicken broth (can substitute for vegetable)
4 cups water/ (OPTIONAL: You can make this ramen glow in the dark by cooking the noodles separately in tonic water! Name-brand tonic water might glow better)
(Optional: If you’re making your Underrealm Noodles glow, you can also add powdered vitamin B2 to the noodles to make them glow)
1 ounce dried shiitake mushrooms
2 packages instant ramen (noodles only!)
1/2 cup chopped scallions or chives
2 cup chopped kale
1 cups shredded carrots
Sriracha to taste
crunchy golden panko crumbs for topping
(Optional: UV/Blacklight to see the Underrealm Noodles glow in the dark!)
Instructions:
Heat the sesame oil in a large skillet over medium-low heat. Add the garlic and ginger; stir fry for 2 minutes or until soft and fragrant.
(Optional: You can cook noodles separately in tonic water, and/or with vitamin B2 powder, before continuing to the next step so they can glow in the dark)
Add the broth and the water. Bring to a simmer; add the mushrooms and simmer for 10 minutes or until the mushrooms have softened and the broth is flavorful.
Add the instant noodles to the hot liquid and simmer for an additional 5 minutes or until the noodles have softened. Add the scallions and stir to combine.
(If you’re making your noodles glow in the dark, you can skip straight to adding the scallions and stirring to combine.)
Remove from heat, stir in the kale and carrots, and top with crunchy panko crumbs (see notes) and a soft-boiled egg (optional). Season with chili oil, hot sauce, sesame oil, and/or soy sauce, and salt to taste.

Sweet Ice Rolls
Ingredients:
Dough
2 and 3/4 cups (344g) all-purpose flour (spooned & leveled)
1/4 cup (50g) granulated sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt

3 Tablespoons (43g) unsalted butter
2 and 1/4 teaspoons Platinum Yeast from Red Star or any instant yeast (1 standard packet)
1 large egg, at room temperature
Filling
3 Tablespoons (43g) unsalted butter, extra softened
1/3 cup (67g) packed light or dark brown sugar
1 Tablespoon ground cinnamon
½ cup heavy cream
Cream Cheese Icing
4 ounces (113g) full-fat block cream cheese, softened to room temperature
2 Tablespoons (28g) unsalted butter, softened to room temperature
2/3 cup (80g) confectioners’ sugar
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
Instructions:
Make Dough:
Whisk flour, sugar, and salt in a large bowl.
Heat milk and butter until butter melts (110°F/43°C). Whisk in yeast until dissolved.
Combine with dry ingredients and add the egg, mix to form a soft dough.
Knead and Rest:
Knead dough on floured surface with floured hands for 3-5 minutes until smooth.
Once dough is smooth and kneaded, place in greased bowl, cover, and rest for 10 minutes. You can add more flour if dough is too soft or sticky.
Prepare Rolls:
Roll dough into 14Ă—8-inch (36Ă—20-cm) rectangle.
Spread softened butter on top, mix cinnamon and brown sugar, then sprinkle on the dough.
Roll the dough into a log, cut into 10–12 rolls, place in a greased pan.
Rise:
Cover the pan with aluminum foil, plastic wrap, or a clean kitchen towel. Allow rolls to rise in a relatively warm environment for 60–90 minutes or until dough doubles in size.
Bake:
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Warm heavy cream (neither hot nor cold), pour over risen rolls.
Bake 24–27 minutes until lightly browned. Tent with foil if browning too fast. Internal temperature should be 195–200°F (91–93°C).
Make Icing:
Beat cream cheese until smooth and creamy. Add butter, mix until combined and creamy. Add and mix confectioners’ sugar and vanilla.
Spread icing on warm rolls.
Store:
Store covered at room temperature for 2 days or refrigerated for 5 days.
So, at House Shakacon, my daughter and I made Sweet Ice Rolls. It was a very time consuming recipe, but it gave me lots of ideas on how to modify my usual cinnamon recipe to make it better... We tried the rolls tonight as we watched the Barbie Movie and the final verdict was they loved the sweetness of it, but would like it to be a little fluffier. Below is some of the highlights of our journey and our finished product. Overall, the entire process from beginning to end took about 3 hours including the two different times we set the dough to rise.

It was a lot of fun! The recipe was elaborate and it felt like it came from a master chef. Thank you for having the contest and for sharing the recipes! My next batch of cinnamon rolls I make will be better because of the ideas I got from making this recipe! Happy Holidays to everyone at Intrepid!

Py’Rai having Winter Harvest Bowl feels unusual.
Haha, maybe our winter is a lot like your fall, just a touch cool?

There are at least five elves in the above image.
I'm looking forward to the end result.

... I keep reading this thread's title as Noodles and guards ... a huge desire of mine
Would be nice to see the full list of recipes on the forum, for even the ones that don't win and get to be on-stream.
Can you try this with the Empyrean treats??
A Fireside Brew sounds so cozy though!
Thankfully mine looks a little tastier!
