Crashing on loading screen

Wondering if anyone found a fix for crashes referencing shader decompression. Upon loading into the game, there is a popup for issues with UE5 and the i9-13900 and 19-14900 processors. That takes you to a link that says the only fix is replacing the CPU. For the first two weeks, the crash report referenced shader decompression, now this week there is no crash report, but the game crashes after getting to about 12% of the load bar when trying to enter a server. Never experienced regular crashes on any other Unreal Engine game with this system. So far I've gone through two fresh installs of the game, updated GPU drivers twice, tried changing turbo settings through BIOS, and still can't load in. Any help is appreciated!

System Details:
OS: Windows 11 Home
CPU: Intel i9-14900K
GPU: Geforce RTX 4090
RAM: Teamgroup 64GM DDR5

The game seems to freeze during load - I think I was able to play for a couple of hours, during which freezes happened with random frequency, but now I rarely am even able to get to the realm selection screen before a freeze occur.
I'm not sure which files (logs, etc) could be useful to debug this issue. Please let me know.

Addendum: the mouse is the only thing that doesn't freeze.
When frozen, I can ALT TAB out of the game, but I can't get the game window to get back into primary focus. At such a point I can ony use the Launcher "Close Game" option, or kill the application via Task Manager.
I tried "Repair" and "Reinstall" but neither of them helped.

Bought the game, installed, made a character, every time I attempt to enter world, the game loading screen pops up, goes to 13% then the screen turns black and the game crashes 1 minute later.

    I have tried:
    Resolution settings changes
    quality setting
    Uninstalling/Reinstalling
    Repairing
    Making a new character
Making a new character on a new realm
Making a new class with a different name on a different server

im out of ideas.. Anyone know how I can get in?

Update: I updated the graphic card drivers (which were 2-3 months old) and rebooted my PC and I was able to make it back into the game again. At least for now.
The freezing still happens, but at least now it's back to feezing some time after I've logged onto the realm

Same on my laptop. Starting screen loads. I can select real and start loading world but at 12-14% it hangs. Black screen and then game exits with no error message.
    - AMD Ryzen 5 3550H with Radeon Vega Mobile Gfx
    - GeForce GTX 1650
    - 16 GB RAM
    - Windows 11 Home 23H2 22631.4460

On my desktop PC works ok (although it sometimes crashes due to video memory leak after longer play) - RTX 3080 + ryzen + 32 GB RAM

Forcing use of GeForce card in Nvidia panel didn't help.

    [EDIT]
Played around and it seems that game is trying to use tons of memory + has a problem with DLSS and DX12. When I forced lower video memory usage by playing around in Nvidia panel and rised windows pagefile size to 16GB I was able to load world partial. UI was loaded with tons of glitches :P But rest was still black.
Game used all RAM, pagefile and video memor I have :open_mouth:

Update 2: The freezes have mostly subsided, and have been replaced by crashes.

Update 3: The freeze is back again, happens constantly as I load into the world.
Repair and Reinstalling don't help, and driver is up to date.
I was able to load a couple of times when I changed server, but the freezes on load into realmcame back aimmediately

    Hi all!

For some of those in this thread, I believe you might be encountering a known issue with Intel CPUs and Unreal Engine 5. For some, updating their BIOS fixed this.

🔸 Players with certain Intel processors may be presented with a message concerning known stability issues with their CPU. This message will direct to an Epic known issue.

I believe your issue is from not meeting minimum system spec requirements :(

Just want to put out there that if you indeed have a permanent damage to your CPU, I read an article that Intel extended manufacturers warranty for 2 years for these CPUs, so you might be able to get a replacement and then start fresh with an updated BIOS.

I have i9 and I updated bios before the first launch of the game and didn't run into issues yet (and hopefully wont)

I have a 14 series i7 and had no problems with crashing until last week, when it turned exactly as described here. A bios flash solved it, and I played the rest of the weekend without crashes.
