    I purposefully worded it to be vague as I want to see what they will discuss on the topic alone(where they will take the discussion) . I know a lot of people look towards end game progression but since this game is in its infancy, i'm curious to what they have planned.
  • With crafting being such a central focus of the game, will some class combinations require more types of crafting than others?

    For example, a Rogue/Ranger who uses daggers/bow and leather armor would need a blacksmith, woodworker and leatherworker.
    While a Fighter/Rogue who uses dual swords/greatsword and plate armor might only need a blacksmith.

    If this is the case, do you plan on implementing features to balance the general effort to craft a full gear set?
  • Hey guys, can you tell us anything more about the roleplay aspect of the game yet? Are there any plans for dedicated RP servers? :)

    I feel that roleplay in the MMO genre often gives more heart and depth to a server's immersion.
  • When can we expect to get more insight into the breeding /animal husbandry profession, like what sort of animals/mounts that can be bred any epic mounts (unicorns etc), and will it be a worthwhile profession in this game like the other crafting professions?
  • I'd really like to hear more on how you plan to balance having pro-pvp and pvp-averse players on the same server.
    Dynamic conflict & risk are so essential for memorable compelling experiences in a game like this., and player killers make fantastic natural villains.
    How are you going to convince people who don't or can't pvp well that they will be able to succeed happily in a world where they could be preyed upon, yet, keep those player killing villains interested? (The downfall of Ultima Online, by way of the felucca/trammel split, springs to mind)

    PS I'm terrible at pvp, but I've always appreciated the villains who bring drama and tension to mmos
  • Will there be set effects offered by armor sets, that will be more beneficial to some races/classes than others, such as healing boost/power for clerics or reflect damage for tanks ? Will there also be weapon special effects, such as poison from a dagger or burning damage from an orb/tome for mages (if these will be weapon types ingame)?
  • Will we have trinkets in AoC ? If so what sort of trinkets?
  • If the kickstarter exceeds the 2.5 million stretch goal - Can we have the next stretch goals be moving up/forward an alpha/beta date? <3
  • Can you give some more insight on how artisan class such as cooking/alchemy will feel like? Would it be more than just a buff for X minutes?

  • Dang, only one question. Well, I guess to start:

    -In many other MMORPG's consumable-based crafting classes tend to fall behind equipment-based crafting classes in terms of relevance unless they can provide some kind of huge two hour buff or mimic another class' ability in a limited fashion (ie. rezzing). I heard from an unreliable third party that both of those are off the table in the design for crafters. Can you confirm if that's true or not, and if so, can you share any plans you may have to keep consumable-based crafters just as relevant and/or interesting to equipment-based crafters? Eg. Alchemists versus Blacksmiths.

    Add on: Other games allowed player import image, and people trolled by putting rated ADULT content. The game ended up removing this feature. How will you implement such a system will safeguarding against rated ADULT images?

    Other games have tried this, and players trolled by putting rated ADULT content. They ended up removing the feature. How will you safeguard against players abusing this feature?
  • When you deconstruct a high level item from a monster drop, will you just get the recipe to build that item or the resources that it took to make that item?

    Other games that allow for players to upload images, had players troll by putting up rated ADULT content. The feature got removed. How will you safeguard against this happening in this game?

    Quick small question.

    Underground world or underworld. How you are planning to make it accessible for the players?
    I've seen on backer wall something about new race. Wouldn't be better to have this as a game progress (mid/end game?)

  • What will be the level cap starting out? Will there be updates as we go or will we be buying expansions down the road? Will We have a shared bank for all of our toons on the same server? How many toons will we be able to have on 1 account and per server? Will We be able to gather process and craft the finish product all on 1 toon so that if we choose to play solo we can?
  • How do you see early game time crafting taking place?
    From my understanding the world starts primitive. This would be pre-Freehold time. Would there be basic potions/weapons/armor for sale from a vendor while gathering, processing, and crafting are starting up?
  • Could you explain the different augment effects between a Summoner/Other and Other/Summoner?
  • To Steven or Jeff!

    What will the balance between Summoner and Summon be in regards to combat?
    Example: Character > Pet or Pet > Summoner in terms of combat strength.
  • Can you please provide more details on how fishing will work in AoC? Will there be baits, lures, biome species, seasonal species, time of day catches or catch rates, fishing pools(nodes) or open water fishing?
  • How will the dungeon systems work, will they be like everquests where dungeons were massive and multiple groups all fit inside and camped certain locations and spawns and such? (Fingers crossed)

    And will there be named
    Npcs in dungeons and in the world that have % to drop certain items similar to Everquest as well? Spawn times were days even weeks for a named to spawn in a certain area and even if you got it to spawn and managed to kill them the % of drop was low, it made the itemsunique cause not everyone had that item that was a desperately sought out for.

    Much better then how many times can 1 group run a 10 min instance and get drops... everyone has everything in instance based dungeons.
