No time to fall asleep in PvP. It's exciting to be a healer for your people. It's not all about watching the bars.
You use both AoE and single target heals. Some times your assigned to accompany another player. As in a raid you have to have your eyes everywhere and be ready to move. You need to be ready to jump out of ground AOE and to heal the guy who got caught off guard. Oh and you better be watching your back because the opposing warriors are going to target you fast. They put a BIG target on you that says THIS ONE FIRST. Or send their rogues after you. Nope nothing about healing in PvP puts you to sleep if your on top of things.
Traveling to the fight I would often stay behind lower level players to guide and protect them with heals if needed from NPC's.
Sometimes your fighting along side other guilds or groups against a common enemy and you reach out and heal someone not in your group. Managing mana is the tricky part and knowing your abilities.
A healer's role is multifaceted. Most healers have some decent DPS spells also.
I really like healing, I just wish it was a bit more focused on actual support, like crowd control, buffing allies and debuffing enemies, that kind of stuff, not just healing. But most people only see their health bars filling up on their own and think that this is it. So I raise my glass to all of us, the underappreciated people who actually make sure that no innocent people die — only those we stopped healing deliberately
And we the healers encourages you by healing your injuries so you can enjoy new ones!
Masochistic relationship. ❤️
No one thanks bards, it's a good thing we have such high opinions of ourselves. Hahaha.
The tank sticks close to the monsters and the healer offers sweet cohesion.
Cleric Cleric maybe ..
I've said this before: Cleric Summoner could be awesome too ... I want to summon angels so badly xD #lifegoals
I dunno, summoning angels? They might be the ones who didn't get healed and seek revenge!
Besides, even if @Sateda only calls up the ghosts they'd be good backups to have
That depends on whether they back us up after not healing them or help our adversaries kill us for letting them die!
I first fell in love with healing in ee and I haven't found a game that let me heal like that since. I miss being able to manage the hp buffs and debuffs of an 8 man team and still be able to assist with damage and debuffs on the boss
When we get more info on the classes as well as how the secondaries work, I'll joyfully sit down and plot out my diabolical plans for being the best dang off-kilter healer out there! Gods know, though, it'll probably take me a week or two to play around with the different combos to "feel" which I think'll work best for me.
Heh. I'm quite well-known by those who know & love me for deleting/rerolling characters mercilessly. I have no expectation AoC will curb that little habit
