It's quite an easy language to pick up once you've learned the Welsh Alphabet because it's very phonetic in nature. It's a very difficult language to write however, even for natives. Maybe one day you'll be able to use Welsh greeting words in your vids for your Welsh viewers :)

    Native:
    - Spanish
    - Catalonian

    Other languages:
    - English (read good, listening very low level)
    - French (read very low level)
  • 1. English
    3. Vietnamese

Apparently I should be worry about math rather than language.  :'(
  • I've spotted four  putonghua speakers including me, we should form a secret society, and 我们只应该说话汉语,所以他们都不明白咱们。  >:)>:)>:)>:)>:)

More importantly (to me) What motivated you to learn another language if you didn't have to.

I came to the conclusion(through persuasive parents) that I wouldn't get far in life without English.

See I can see why people would say that if English isn't your first language but idk how I feel about that opinion. Many Americans don't have the desire to even consider learning a different language meanwhile if I could I'd learn like 12 lol.
  • Sure but to be fair the context of America and Wales is totally different. There's only around 500,000 Welsh speakers in Wales. Believe it or not, whilst I am bilingual I do not consider myself a linguist. It seems you do. :)
  • To people who don't play games, we  all speak a different language. You should see my family's face when I try to explain anything related to video games or computers.
  • Aussie slang - believe me it's a foreign language!  :D
  • No
  • No
Well you spoke English and Spanish right there...

    Lies I tell you, lies.
  • I speak English and I am learning Spanish at the moment.
  • A great topic!
As for me, in order of fluency it would have to be:

    English
    Spanish
    French

  • 1. English
    2. Spanish
    3. Spanglish :P
  • Polish, English, some Russian and some Czech.

The problem is i didn't see any other Polish ppl here. I need to do something with that.
  • Speak:
    1) French
    2) Dutch
    ( 2.5) West-Vloams, a very distinct Dutch dialect )
    3) English

    Understand:
    1) German

I would like to learn Esperanto when I have the time.
And my gf is trying to teach me Swedish  :D
  • Fluent:  Italian
Decent: English and my hometown dialect
Poorly: German (can read, can say a few basic things)

Coming soon: French, at least a little bit

Can read, write but not speak: Latin (I take too much time constructing phrases, it would be a very slow conversation)

Can read but not speak:  ancient greek (didn't need at university, just stopped to use it, so it rusted away)
