  • Definitively too early to decide, but I'm very curious about the Fighter².

Overall, I truly revere the doubling down concept: less options vs. more specialization may create a cool variety,
    game-wise.
  • Not enough information yet to make this decision.
  • Since the secondary classes are supposed to be easy to switch between, I'll definitely be going Bard/WhatEverFitsMyPlayStyleBest.

Fighters in general seem to be the least talked about in the community, so that may be a rare mix :)
  • I'm thinking mage/mage but really to early to tell.
  • As a master of summoning magic it would only make sense to have it as my main and sub class

Same, but I'm sticking to my guns on my Mage/Mage choice. The "Arcmage" seems to be leading out of all the players that want to double down in this poll.
  • Depends on what skills i'll get, else probably rogue/rogue

I can't wait to see what double down does to your core skills. For balance it shouldn't be to OP, but just a little would be ok with me
  • It's so hard to decide without all the info.  It sure will be an interesting time trying to decide!  The fact that we can change our secondary at some point is good.  :)
This is sure going to be a looooooooooooong trip!

The only thing I dislike about Ashes is that it hasn't been there my whole gaming life @CylverRayne

Ah but if it were there your whole life would you still be playing it?
I do hear what your saying though!  Where has Ashes been all these years?
Floating in our dreams and it took a dreamer to get it moving!

  • I am going Paladin regardless of the 800 nerfs they will probably receive due to the fact they typically end up op. Other than that maybe make a double up alt to test the waters.
  • Screw the wand! I want a magic nerf stick as a stretch goal ;)
  • I'll sneak into every little corner of the world... -If- I decide to double down.

Gotta be a strong healer :D It's possible I might go bard secondary but that depends ^~*

Ditto! The benefit of the doubling down vs branching out will determine what I do though. If doubling down say, nets a 25% increase in the main class, I'll go for that. Gotta be a strong healer. ;)
But if the boost is negligible, I would probably go bard for the extra support feathers in my hat.
  • I need to know about the non-pure class combos and how they stack up before I can make a decision
  • I am pretty sure that I will do Cleric/Bard, but depending on how the bard works I might end up doubling up on cleric
  • Defo gonna roll a Tank/Summoner, it's the kind of play style I seem to lean towards in most RPGs.
  • Obviously too early to tell right now, before we have all the class information. However, just by making a pure guess I'd probably go Bard/Mage. The reason for this combo is that I want to make a class which resembles the Aion's Songweaver/Bard as much as possible. For me that was one of the most awesome support/DPS classes I've ever played :D
  • Harry Potter FTW

  • Like in league the bard bard will reign
  • Really depends. I am going to try a few different combos. Excited to try Rogue/Mage and Rogue/Ranger though.
  • Depends on the augments, obviously.
  • Full-time Rogue :sunglasses:
  • I'm mostly looking on augmenting cleric with bard, or something else that will add beneficial buffs (hopefully defensive buffs) along with my heals to the party, but if it turns out that full on cleric/cleric is better for that, I might go pure cleric instead.
  • ranger/ranger...but it all depends on how the skills break down
  • I have myself in my Sig listed as Tank/Bard but I have to wait for more information on the Bard. If that doesn't look desirable I will be playing a Tank/Tank
You can never go wrong with a Tank!
  • At this point I am leaning towards cleric/cleric.  A healer needs all the heal abilities they can get.  But that does not mean that some secondaries may enhance a clerics ability to heal more effectively.  Maybe Cleric/Mage for faster heals cast time.  Or a Cleric/Summoner who can summon a pet to suppliment or add additional heals, or even a Cleric/Bard who can buff you or your mates that increases heal amount.  The possibilities are endless.

Like most are saying really to early to tell and may not know until the theory crafters have a chance to run all the combos and numbers
