Will you be doubling down on your main class by choosing the same secondary class?

  • I will most likely not pick a support class so I think my secondary class will be Cleric, Tank or even Bard. First I have to see what each class offers before I can make a decision though.
  • I will most likely be going Fighter/Fighter.  I would like to dual wield swords, I'm hoping it doesn't end up being all about the 2handed weps. I feel like Fighter /fighter should be your generic smash your face in warrior with Medium / heavy armor. A class that hits very, very, hard. While at the same time be able to take a considerable amount of damage.
  • I choose fighter/fighter but will have to reevaluate when I see the final abilities for all the archtypes.
  • Still dont know enough about the classes to take a firm vote, so undecided it is :)
  • RIght now i want to say I'm doing fighter/fighter but it really depends on what you can do with the other classes and augments can do. What i want to play is definitely in the spirit of the fighter/fighter though.

Typically ill do a tank Class up front and then if game allows for a secondary i'll usually go with a healer class. its even better if i can slot in some healing element into my main classes ability bar. helps in big boss battles if i can drop a small heal for myself and help the group healer a bit by taking a bit of pressure off.

in ESO i tank and drop my Sanguine altar which has a life steal perk  for an area heal to help out with a main boss and chip away at the boss points
    .

  • You should have a "I'm going to do it all" option on this poll for us poor misunderstood altoholics.

I'm an Altoholic.  We are Many.  We are I.
  • Will be tank/cleric just love to play paladin type characters, but with the possible ability to change our secondary class, I may try out some others.
  • I'm strongly thinking about fighter/mage, it has amazing potential base on augments if doe right ( looking at you I.S) still maybe when more info about the classes comes around who knows I might change to fighter/fighter
  • Imagine i can summon myself!!!!
  • The information we have on this topic is still quite meager, but if I had to make my decision right now I would double down on the Cleric class. A healer can never have enough healing abilities and besides... What other class would have the divine power to purge the world of its dark infestations and demonic horrors? Clerics unite!
  • I hope Bard/Bard makes me the best support class, if it does not then I may try Bard/Cleric.
  • I will have to see this in alpha and beta before making final decision. Summoner+summoner/bard sounds the best for me currently. We will see how much things affect another in the future though.
  • I am interested to see what some of the newcomers might be playing!
  • I am far from sure, I'd need to know a lot more about the classes before making that choice.

I'm leaning towards Rogue/Bard, but I may go Rogue/something else. Depends on the info that comes out as they progress.
  • Cleric/cleric all the way!
  • I hope Mage/Mage gets a lot of single target damage output, I'd hate to see an AoE bottleneck.

    @XombieCrisis glass cannon or bust.
  • Yes, I want to be really good at whatever I decide to be when I grow up.

I will be a fighter/tank I think as you can properly have a high defence and attack and I enjoy PvP with the race I will be going with one of the Ren'kai Orcs as the description sums how I want to play the game "there aren't many men or beasts to live to tell the tale."  But it really depends on when they are going to release the attributes the classes give you and tell us more about the secondary classes effect
  • Empyrean Cleric/Bard c: there will be no change, nothing will change my mind, not gameplay, not the concerns of others. I'm hellset. <3
  • Voted undecided, but most likely no.
At this point there is far too little info related to the archetype themselves and how each classes can be differentiated with the secondary class.
  • Deffinatley going to be going for a Mage/Cleric or a Mage/Summoner
  • I will not be doubling down,  maybe Tank/ Cleric or Tank / Bard = basically Paladin,
  • I don't know enough about the game yet to decide if I should go mage/mage or something else yet.
  • a necroed thread! I knew it looked familiar

Maybe re-necro it after all the info about the classes has been released. Then at least I will be better informed and be able to actually answer the question.
  • Considering going rogue/rogue.
  • Waiting to see if;
    • Tank/Tank is big crit resistant (Call that a punch?)
    • Tank/Cleric is spam damage resistant (Ouch, ouch, ouch! <heal>)
    • Tank/Rogue has better damage dodge abilities (Missed me! pffft)
    • Tank/Fighter has better damage block abilities (<clang> Just call me Tanker Belle!)
    • etc
Waiting to see which fits my play style better as well as which two combos fair better in PvP.
