Glorious Alpha Two Testers!

Alpha Two Realms are now unlocked for Phase II testing!

For our initial launch, testing will begin on Friday, December 20, 2024, at 10 AM Pacific and continue uninterrupted until Monday, January 6, 2025, at 10 AM Pacific. After January 6th, we’ll transition to a schedule of five-day-per-week access for the remainder of Phase II.

    I'm an altoholic, but I don't do humans and rarely do elves.  :tongue:  There are a lot of Tulnar in my future, as well as a few Orcs and maybe a Dwarf.  :wink:

    The Tulnar are interesting to me as well, but I have a feeling they'll go the same way as the Charr in GW2.

    Everyone got excited for the Charr race (giant, lion dudes with tails and horns), but armor would frequently clip on the character models (this has been fixed) and they looked ridiculous with their animations (not fixed, still looks ridiculous).

    If the Tulnar has cool-looking character models and their animations/armor clipping don't tarnish the overall appearance, I could see myself going over to them :)

    I'd like to see how well dwarves wield magic. If not very well I might go elf, or human, but I still love dwarves

    Ultimately, whatever will be best fit to archer.

    I only voted on elf, because elves are classically best fit to archers.
    But who knows how Ashes will have their races made...

    I see the logic most definitely but hopefully the Primary/Secondary class system will allow any and all races to effective at endgame/max level. :)

    Naturally will see what they all offer before making my main but the Alpha's/Beta's will sort that out.
    Should they be applicable to me then beast race it is, maybe mix in my devil/angel skin depending on how that affects the look.

    Gonna play Human or Elf, Most likely Human. But if Mage/Cleric/Summoner characters are more efficient to play with Elves, then Elves. It's hard to customize Orcs to look  good as well as it'll be annoying to play a slow character as dwarves, neither I'm interested in dark netherworld creatures...


    Also Orcs at 0%? Ren'Kais are crying...

    Why are orcs so unpopular :(.  And why are humans so popular they are in every single video game and every player is human.  I just don't get it.

    I'll have to wait on race lore and aesthetics before making a decision.
    Ummm. Whichever race's atmosphere fits my Cleric the best I suppose. ♡

    Elves always were my first thought when it comes to choosing a race, however the Vek (the star orcs) look really compelling too.

    I would like to see Dung Beetle people. They take  more damage than other races because of their cool armor, however, their houses are made of dung. So are weapons, crafts, everything. Dung arrows etc...

    It is evident what I'm choosing. I'm surprised since Orcs don't look as gruesome as other games. Heck, with sliders it is easy to make a good looking one. It is just a lot of people don't want to put in the effort! I do plan on going Vek as the bard class currently interests me the most. I like the idea of singing about the future events to come.
