What level of nudity would you like to see in Ashes of Creation?

If we have full nudity it will attract two kinds of people.
1. Pervs who are playing the game for all the wrong reasons. Plenty of magazines and videos and even other games for that.
2. The altruistic types who accept its just skin at the end of the day and cant understand the excitement or arousal. They see such things as personal slavery and censorship.
3. The immature who are fascinated by the potential taboo.
I am not bothered either way personally, but there will be and this will attract 100s of children too. Those children normally bring tantrums and attitude problems most people grow out of. So I reject it on the grounds of the people it will attract.
But if there is no nudity the age rating will be lower anyway. Hhhmmm!
Perhaps I just feel perverts and children don't mix in modern society. It leads to grooming.
I don't have an issue with people wearing, or not wearing whatever they want.... but yeah I might use it as a huge, stay away, immaturity coming through warning siren
Maybe they could have adult servers for those who want that mandatory?
Despite this, I'm okay with revealing clothes, especially the ones who censor body aesthetically.
I think those people didn't understand this well.
If nudity is optional, and you can trigger it off, it means YOU WOULD NOT SEE NAKED CREEPS running around if you set it to off, THEY WOULD BE CLOTHED FOR YOU on your screen.
You set nudity in your settings to OFF = you don't see anyone naked but instead you see some basic underwear on top of their intimate parts.
You set nudity to ON = if someone is naked you see him naked (and not in underwear).
Though, I've been lucky enogh not to receive such attentions when I played male characters, i did receive some sort of them in the only occasion I played a female one, but stopped immediately as soon as I stated my actual gender. They were after me, assuming that I am a woman, not after my character.
I am talking about a game of 2001 in which you could not undress beyond underwear.
So pervs will be there, it may be overly confident but I am pretty sure not to be wrong.
For as much as children are concerned, instead, well, full nudity is a problem but killing another character is not? Showing the kid all the mischievous aspects of politics and economy that this game might put forward in its node management system is fine?
Given that you're the parents and you decide how to grow your kid, I would still suggest to educate the kid in all aspects of the world, without protecting it only or mainly from sexuality (in fact, my personal opinion is that you should not, at all, "protect" the child from sexuality but "guide" him/her through it).
As far as other people's children are concerned, instead... well, they will be playing the game as much as there are very young people on social media; sometimes they'll be living their social lives quite normally, some other times they'll have very rude and inappropriate behaviours... sometimes they'll naturally avoid some contents, sometimes they'll actively look for it. Kids come in every flavour.
So.... what do we do?
Do we forbid children to use computers? Do we restrict their possibilities to navigate? Do we publicly oppose the presence of certain kinds of contents on the net, thus restricting the freedom of the internet all together?
Wether we decide to act as strict parents or not, we can neither restrict internet's freedom nor teach other people's children or their parents how to educate their own.
If these rude children will play AoC then they will behave rudely with or without underpants.
If other people's children, the respectful kind, will play AoC, well, the job will be their parent's to teach them and guide them. Not ours. And maybe the experience will be of education and growth, not of trauma.
I have voted mandatory nudity. I like for facts to be there, the facts being that people have genitalia and that some characters would probably behave abnormally because of the stupidity of some people out there. If I had a child, I would probably have already told the kid about sexuality hoping that thus there would be no real problem about the nudity.
That said, I would be very fine even with optional nudity, it gives you a choice you are entitled to make.
I don't think the models will be anatomically revealing beneath the bikini region, in any case.
Cannonbaaaaalllllllll!
I'm 99% sure that they would not put any nudity into the game, so the pool is pretty pointless, that's not something that the players could choice.
If the game will be popular, there will be nude mods, otherwise, well, then it doesn't matter anyway...
Also the ones who fear the ratings, ratings aren't matter. This isn't the 2000's. The era when you went into shop and bough a boxed game is over.
And so the player's parents have close to no saying in what does the player play. While in the past parents maybe didn't bought the highly rated games, in the current days, if someone wants to paly with a game, he just download it and play, he not going to ask he's parents whether he can play, nor does they going to care.
Don't be delusional. If i would say that 1 out from 10000 parent watches and cares about the rating of the game that he's child paly, I already said more than the realistic number.
You see, kids drink, smoke, have sex and even do drugs before 18.
And you think that their parents would care if they would play with a game, where a very small pictogram indicates that you can undress the characters completely?
lol, don't make me laugh...
However having full nudity in the game at least helps selling it. There are players who would try it just cause that reason, and usually if such a game comes out, it ends up being in some news, which is free advertisement.
If you open your eyes, sex sells... Even if it doesn't the main point of a game, it's very easy to advertise a game with it
With the high esteem I have for this game and its content developers, I'd rather not have people see Ashes of Creation as "that one game with nude character models." They don't need perverts swarming en masse in order to sell their game. Mid to long term effects matter more than initial sales. Pretty soon you have 13-year-olds screwing around on the side of the road and female avatars getting naked on podiums in the metropolis begging for gold. This is a game, it's not real life. There's no authority to restrict that sort of behavior, so of course it will come out. In a game, you have to be honest with the limits of realism you can employ in the game world and restrict player freedom to match the level of realism you'd expect from the world *if* it were real.
Underwear should be mandatory, because there's not enough control to restrict nudity to appropriate areas. Having the option to turn it on and off isn't any less X-rated than having it be always on. It restricts the playerbase -- and if it didn't, you'd see young teens and possibly younger running around in the nude pretty much every time you logged on. No thanks.
See how different people have different opinions?
The point being that the fact that you believe something harms opinion of the game, doesn't mean this is true.
