Maybe since the Tulnar have spent so many years underground, a city built by them could have underground housing?
I'm sure that's been planned already since it's confirmed that there will be underground nodes. Maybe instead of an expedition they'll start off with little mud huts and then expand onward.

@Dygz I assume you mean 1350 BCE, but yes, taking into account how many centuries humans have been on this planet I would say that is relatively new
    It's actually 3000 BCE - 2500 BCE.
    Indus River Valley civilization.

i wonder if underground nodes are already set up - to certain stages - because Tulnar haven't  the came through the divine gates . They've been there always xD

I was literally about to ask that lol.

Would be cool to see lore wise.
Also, what if a city beneath another city could attack from the crypts or sewers of the above city?

My mind says been blown *_* Even as short cuts - maybe sewer entrances are difficult to find - could be a quick transport to another node xD Like a weird lift aha
  • @Dygz I am so sorry, I misread your original statement. Yes you are right. But sewers really didn't become a well known thing until much much later. Even still relatively, in the Grand timeline of human history, that is not that long ago. Relatively of course
  • Yep. Just clarifying. No worries.

  • Tunnels could be connected to a under realm racial caves at one point and underground invasion could be launched.
  • hmmm maybe it would be Tulnar as mentioned above.
  • I can just see my self hunting rats and other vermin in the sewer system. Its going to be great fun.

WOW arenas in the military   Maybe, might be in obtained through a sewer but you all need to think BIGGER.   Sewers offer the potential for quests and dungeon egress. Traps. rats and spiders.  Anyone remember the sewers and the danger they posed in EQ1?  Remember having to sneak through to get where you needed to go because you were KOS to the guards in a particular city?
Boy the spies would have it made.  An enemy force would have fun.  Bounty hunters could find a path to sneak up on a corrupted one.

ohhhhhhhhhh ya the fun to be had.
  • LOL, yeah same in EQ2.

Careful what you wish for oh backwards named one lest the rats and "vermin" start hunting YOU!

I'd also like to see some real underground mazes too.  How fun would it be to get lost in some huge maze, and have to solve puzzles to get out.  All while being hunted or looking for treasure.

Beware of Ninja Turtles.  I heard they do not take kindly to corrupt players.

Those things look like they could give you some deadly disease. Then you would spread it to the entire city's population and kill everyone and the Rat kingdom will begin above ground..

I'm a Queen can I win too? xD
  • Interesting that reply is only "in some, yes".

Does this mean that it would be the government's choice to develop sewer systems?

What benefits are there to developing them, if that's the case? My only guess would be things like hygiene and escape routes...
