Ember is a newly formed community around Ashes of Creation made up of veteran gamers from the MMO genre. Many of us have been following the game since it was announced and backed at a Kickstarter level. We have been actively involved in the community since then and recently began to create content for it. Honestly I have had a great experience in the guild so far. I joined less than a week ago but everyone is extremely active in chat, everyone plays a variety of games together and they are just overall extremely welcoming. Wasn't even looking to join a guild this early before the game but I'm glad I did! 

Looking forward to meeting some of the newer peeps! Just hit me up if anyone has any other questions about my experiences so far.

That aside, is your guild accepting applications and/or accepting people into your Discord?

I may be in the market for a guild...I am not sure of the direction the one I am currently in is headed.  A little about me:

1)  Fighter class main, plan on trying ALL subclasses for role-efficiency / optimal loadouts depending on the situation
2)  NA player (HST timezone)
3)  Devout PvP-er, highly interested in ALL facets of the game inculding craft / artisanship
4)  Will be capping out a craft / artisanship to whatever is needed by the guild
5)  Team effort / a cause greater than myself is of upmost priority, matched only by my desire for my own personal strength
6)  Hardcore on days I have time, semi-hardcore on average days, chill on lazy days - will be logged in everyday regardless
7)  Pretty old gamer (early 30's), have played a few MMORPG's, the ones I've played extensively are BDO, GW, GW2, DC Universe Online
8)  Will contribute much of my efforts for the benefit of the guild / guild-mates and the rest for personal achievements in-game, but team-effort is PRIORITY

You probably won't know much about me until you get to know me on a deeper level.  All I can say about myself is get to know me.  I feel you will not be disappointed by my efforts.

Thanks!  And if it is you, the Sinbad I know, I'm so glad you're heading a guild (with one with a name as riveting as 'Ember' - I am a Fire Sign (Sagittarius and Fire Tiger), so it sounds so awesome lol.  If it's the Sinbad I know, will have to admit - gives me, as a prospect, MUCH confidence.  I hope you are able to consider me.  Have a good one!

When I joined Ember, I was still rather new to the MMO guild scene despite having played quite a few and was on the fence about joining one. I joined on a whim, and I'm glad I did. Ember was so welcoming and friendly, and everyone seemed to want to play games together and enjoy themselves. Now, I'm a full member and I can't imagine anywhere else I'd rather be. I'm enjoying the time I spend with everybody, and can't wait to help this guild reach for the top in Ashes. This is more than a guild, it's a family. Let those Embers burn bright

I would like to join, but idk if i will tray Alpha testing. Atleast not atm... mby later when they will make another stuffs not just battlegraunds... Im more PVE oriented player and would like to test dungeons/craftings world itself. In the same time testing is free for all, but there is still queue so not all can join i guess.

I had to travel for a few weeks for work. When I came home, I had a group of 4 waiting for me to start gaming again. Great group here, nothing but love by the Ember community in the past few weeks I've been honored to be here.  Events, people play all sorts of different games so finding a squad within the community isn't difficult, even merchandise!  From what I can see, everyone here wants the guild succeed and go places - aside from personal gains - and that's the thing that impresses me the most, among the plethora of other good aspects.  A like-minded group.  "Family" atmosphere.  Nothing but love Ember!!
