Alpha Two Realms are now unlocked for Phase II testing!

For our initial launch, testing will begin on Friday, December 20, 2024, at 10 AM Pacific and continue uninterrupted until Monday, January 6, 2025, at 10 AM Pacific. After January 6th, we’ll transition to a schedule of five-day-per-week access for the remainder of Phase II.

  • Are we going to be using a skill tree system or is the primary/secondary class (and weapon) combination system going to be our source for build variations? In other words, will there be much diversity within our chosen class combination?
  • Will weapon switching be implemented? For example the predator class would be able to swap between daggers for melee and bow for ranged attacks?

    What advancements in combat have transpired ? Can we expect to see
    • " Freeform-less  Abilities" ?( Abilities that does not require a target - freely useable )
    • some abilities to not have a a Range-limit nor a Parameter Limit ? If not, have you considered it ?
    EDIT: Not referring to Hack-&-Slash nor AoE Spamming 
  • Will you be able to name your mount?
  • How much of an impact will the archetypes secondary attributes have on skills? More specific - What changes about a skill once a secondary class is applied beyond an additional effect, will there be cooldown or cast time modifiers, range or area of affect differences, etc.

    When it comes to our weapon skill, will there be multiple skills we can pick from? Will a archer be able to choose to have a free-aim weapon skill instead of a tab target one?

    During the pax video, it was briefly mentioned that each weapon has it's own progression path, does this mean there will be some kind of progression tied to weapons similar to classes?
  • How will the in game currency/items and hacks be controlled to avoid 3rd party currency/item sellers and botters having an influence?
  • Will we be allowed to use addons or mods?
  • Will u translate game to other languages, russuan for example? Or it will be russian local GameDev studio?
  • i asked this question a few times now, and since the new Q&A is up for the 16th i am going to post it one more time:

    Are there are any plans to upgrade/enhance/expand freehold housing! i find this type of housing the most interesting at the moment, as it provides you with your own piece of land which you can harvest crop, proces materials, craft items from self build land and buildings.

    since you are only allowed to have 1 of each housing type. i started to wonder how big are these freehold plots, and are there any plans on maybe somehow expanding them? and if not expanding are there maybe plans to put an "upgrade" system in place witch would allow for bigger yields of crops planted or higher proc changes in processing or crafting?

    The last thing i would like to know on this topic is, is there enough freehold space for every one. As i understand now servers/realms will hold up til 10.000 people. Since there is only a limited amount of nodes that will actually be active, and have a ZOI. i take if there will also only be limited space available for freeholds? Is there enough space available for 10.000 people to have there own freehold, or will we need to compete over space? And if there is enough space, are you not worried that most people will flock to the most densely populated areas? And if so what can you or will you do to prevent that?


  • My question is this : with no fast travel or teleportation, if you want to group up with friends for a dungeon will we have to run for a half hour to get there or will dungeons just pull you in?
  • Will pvp be optional or do you have to take part to progress?

    Good question... Myself I'd like to see it drop to zero...conquer without war...

    I would prefer to run.

    Plan ahead I say. Also dungeons will be hidden and you will need to find them. Mage will have to reveal the passage to it, also some dungeons will only appear when node levels up, etc.

    So my guess will be we will have to travel around and search for dungeons.

  • What type of storage and bag system will there be in-game? Will there be any limit to what players can carry in-game? Personally, I would like a mix between a GW2 style and Divinity Original Sin 2 style storage and bag UI.
  • I've seen many game developers pay too much attention to their community and it turned the game into something boring, casual, and sometimes just nonfunctional.

    How will you shape the game as you envision it while still giving attention to the people's concerns?
  • I loathed road blocks in Archeage. Will mounts/vehicles have the ability to block roads?

    Since the secondary class offers multiple augment options for each primary class skill will all the options be available as soon as you select your secondary class or do you have to level it up first? Also concerning augments, will utility skills get augmented by the secondary class?
  • my question is. if a house is attacked during a siege but not destroyed would you be able to repair it afterwards or do you have to leave it as a damage house. also I was wondering what will be the char slot limit once you buy and download the game. can you have 2 per account or just 1

  • How will tavern owners make a profit, will we be able to take a percentage of currency wagered at our taverns through tavern games?
  • Will guild halls be only in cities or will they be able to be built in the wild? What will the dye system be like in the game? When will we have more concept art and details on each of the races?

  • these questions were left after giants podcast of last week.

    What kind of dungeons/raids will we see? We already know about their being instanced and open world dungeons, but will there also be instanced raids? or will these raids be more centered around open world events? And what will be the size of those raids? will it be a static number or allow more then the 40 people?

    Also discussed in the podcast: how static/old fashion will these dungeons/raids be? can we categorize them of being repetitive or will they change every time we step in to a dungeon/raid ( as in different roads different bosses for example ). I would really like to see dungeons changing with the seasons as well! a dungeon with a road open in summer but closed or blocked in the winter were it leads somewhere else! Or during autumn were rain has changed a road in to a lake! Also cool would be if bosses change their behavior in those different seasons!

    last discussed in the podcast, was an idea for a more competitive nature for dungeons. Where the first part of it was open for the world, and the last part the boss only for those that would reach it first! for example their is a castle with several floors of mobs, you would first need to go through these floors of trash mobs ( maybe occasional mini boss ). and at the end you enter the boss room which only is available for the first to reach it! Can we expect a encounter like this maybe? Is it something that Intrepid would consider?

  • Can you please explain a bit your idea of AOC naval stuff. Will ships be character or guild property, Will they need to be summoned from harbour or we will have a scroll like in archeage, will we have to choose between an excellent ship and a good armor and, what if our ship get destroyed ?
