Can you explain how Intrepid can distinguish between a player wanting to create a character with diverse physical characteristics (just as people have diverse physical characteristics in real life) from some horny kid wanting to lust over a virtual sex object he (or she!) can ogle lasciviously as this digital cheesecake bounces around the game?

• Give us many different hair styles. Sooo many mmos these days have like 10 choices to pick from. Come on man.
• Let us choose age. Ok, I get it. They don't want **** in the game (and I can get behind that. It feels rather weird outside of the anime genre), but at least let me decide whether I want to be an old man or just some 18 yo kid.
• Skimpy outfits please. Will be disappointed if they go the pc route. It's about making people happy with the the characters they play. I like the revealing stuff in Tera, but hey, I'm not saying we need to take it that far. Also I do NOT want the general style of outfits to be like that. I'm just saying I want these kind of outfits in the game as well, so players have the option to choose them if they so wish.

I love Character customization and IS have said it will be on a par at least with BDO. The challenge being having so many sliders to move that making your toon not look like a mutant unless of coarse you want to look like a mutant, Tulnars i'm looking at you here.

If you are going to play a toon for hours on end you want to be happy with the way they look.  From what IS have said I don't think it is going to be an issue in this game.

@PJ_Rydecker Luckily they wan´t to release the character customization before launch. So you can probably spend weeks trying to not look like a mutant.

Very few young women (majority of which will be white) have massive tits and or arses, so there is no reason to make that an option.

massive tits and asses are both realistic AND apart of fantasy, real people have them, thus there is a reason to make it an option. plus all of the other reasons stated before.

Realism is not mandatory, but believability is. For something to be believable, it doesn't have to be real, just realistic. The moment something stops being believable it stops being immersive, and that's a big deal in any RPG.

It's easier for our brain to believe that some adventurer is very physically active and hence he has big muscles and low body fat(abs), it's not realistic or believable to think someone that exercises as much as an adventurer does; will have balloons for breasts or glutes.

The people going back through the divine gateways are heroes. They are the best of the best. The greatest artisans, the fastest scouts, the strongest fighters, and the majority of said fighters would have 'massive abs and the ability to swing giant swords around'. However, a very small percentage of these people will have 'massive tits and asses'. 
You have created a false equivalence between boob size and fighting strength. Now, why you have done this, I wonder? Could it be you value young women by the size of their boobies and bum??

I think what you really want is the character creator to be unlimited which isn't what your sentence says. Nevertheless, it seems rather crass that you would use such an opportunity to create characters with massive breasts and donkeys. Personally, I would create a giant slime that is bigger than Verra itself and my absorption of Verra would be known as The Greater Calamity.

When the main character designer practically said that this will be one of the most creative, intricate, and detailed character building suites ever made... Pretty sure all of these things will be a possibility.

And we'll probably see the character creation suite by itself before the game release, anyhow.

Haha people need to get out more. You act like there aren't curvy woman in the real world. Oh, but that's not realistic, someone like that couldn't wield a sword! What about a book to cast spells, or a cleric to heal. Everyone returning to Verra is legendary. So they should look legendary in both body and character. Get over it. Stop hating. They've already confirmed sliders for this customization.

So we know that Tulnar can have mammalian influence, so I think the solution here is to make a female donkey with huge utters. Everyone wins. Big teats and asses, realistic, and in accordance to lore so it's not immersion breaking.

They are a mix of reptilian, mammalian, and humanoid.  During character creation you can tune how much of each type your Tulnar character is.

She might be the best female to ever swing a racket.  Her proportions sure don’t seem to slow her down.

But there are people who don’t like her as an athlete, not because of a lack of skill or accomplishments, but her appearance.

...Which is why some of the comments in this thread disturb me a little.

I love seeing the **** complaining about characters/armors not being realistic in a game, where you can use magic, and have similar unrealistic strength and stamina on your character.

This is a fantasy, deal with it. Whatever they put into it is fine, it's just "magic". Not like there would be room for calling anything not being realistic or immersive after the teddy mount...

Just put sliders, and options for everyone to choice whatever they like. Politics have no place in a video game, nor ppls spreading ideologies here...
