Alpha Two Realms are now unlocked for Phase II testing!
For our initial launch, testing will begin on Friday, December 20, 2024, at 10 AM Pacific and continue uninterrupted until Monday, January 6, 2025, at 10 AM Pacific. After January 6th, we’ll transition to a schedule of five-day-per-week access for the remainder of Phase II.

I hope devs are smart enough to not give them what they want
sometimes what people want is not what they need.. I don't know, maybe the devs should listen to them, maybe not, but I'll just wait for the release and hopefully they'll make a good MMO again..

I can say I would be highly disappointed if every time I died in the game, one of my pieces of gear was "broken/gone", after spending a lot of time getting them. However, I find that having sockets with valuable gems in them (which could be broken on death) still stung to lose, but not as bad as a heartbreak. Another option would be to think back to the ole days of EQ when you had to run back to your corpse naked to get your gear.
I was stating my point from the perspective of increasing the death penalties and why that wouldn't work in my view.
