I called myself as an achievement junkie, but you took that addiction to totally another level. :D

I want achievements to unlock game content to play. Example, venders, quests, buffs, items, etc. I think titles and cosmetics are nice but experiencing something special is also a reward too.
  • Some achievements could be real trophies which we can use to decorate our departments, houses or estates. Those can be plaques, flags, cups or even heads on the wall.

For in game reward cosmetic skins and titles would be great and are pretty standard.

I'd say skill morphs, as long as they weren't new skills, just morphs, for some of the harder achievements in the game, with players getting morphs with everything from race, subclass, religion, NPC guilds, and so on I don't see it as too much of a stretch for some of them to come from achievements.

    I love this idea!

Also, other than the usual rewards ( money / consumables / reputation / cosmetics / pets / mounts / skins/ furniture / unlocking emotes / npcs) how about an achievement reward 'tree'.
Every achievement gives you one point towards that final reward, of your own choosing.

Not interested in having a dramatic flaming portal outside your guild hall to welcome in those minions? Choose instead that goal target of an 'x-ray' aura.

    I'd bite for that.

for Achievements I'd love to see a lot :) And as @elf suggested. It would be awesome if these came with nice titles. As far as collectibles and achievements I definitely think BDO had the right idea with the whole Knowledge system.

Just like quests are seperated into tasks/errands and story/whatever I would like to see the same approach for achievements.
Achievements that are more like fun statistics to browse through and might paint a bit of a picture of your everyday gaming life. Killed x monsters, y bird types, z bears. Did t crits, collect s plants, travelled u meters on foot/mounted.
These should be purely statistical. Maybe achievmentpoints, maybe once in a moon a fun little title corresponding to the task.

Achievements that track your progression gaming history.
Cleared this, found that, unlocked path to society, maxed out reputation with society, voted as major, participated in the first cataclysm event of a metropolis.
This is the inbetween category, it can reward everything from just points, to titles and little customizations or even skins. (like you were a major once and you get a top hat skin for example, just to show you did it)

Hidden/ Fun achievements. From discovering something like "The Sandal", Death by throwing yourself with a catapult, mastered the aoc theme song with the ingame flute.
Just whatever fun things, "I didn't know this can be an achievment in my life" - types of things that might make you giggle.
Can award points or maybe titles.

Achievements that are specifically done to challenge you. Clear this 8man dungeon with just 4 people. Kill this boss by (not) doing that. Find the super hidden room.
It isn't necessery to give rewards for any of those categories, but in this example this would be the definietly title category, maybe customization and other rewards like special mount colours/variations for extremely challenging things.
I still remember the weeks we used to clear new Naxxramas without a single death through the whole raid to get the drake.
Having this attitude change from, yeah deaths aren't good, to really want noone to die over those 2-3 days of raiding was just a cool twist.
Challenging Algalon with gear that is not better than x level was also a lasting challenge that couldn't just be taken by outgearing/outleveling him. Fun times and a sense of pride for doing something.

I really like this sort of idea after a few years of play could make for some interesting reading.
