Class combination names

At the risk of being redundant, I wanted to post my take on the class names. I've just recently found out about this game and I am really hyped for it. It's just that some names of the class combinations didn't click with me. I have posted my take on the class names to reddit as well (that was before I found out there is this forum too). A few people really liked it, so I thought I'll post it here as well to reach out to more people.
I do know there have already been a few posts regarding this very topic and yes, I don't fully know how these classes are going to play out in the finished game. I do know I wouldn't necessarily want play a "Spellmancer", for example. This is not a post to bash the developers, not in the slightest! It's just that the current names feel more like placeholder names imho. Maybe this post might give some inspiration... so without further ado, my take on the class names:

If you'd like I can elaborate on certain name choices I've made. I would like to know what you guys think!

The thing is, people have been asking Steven for class name changes since the very beginning, and he has not relented.
This means that he has a clear vision of the class' playstyle and whatever you suggest will most likely be falling on deaf ears, even if all you're doing is using synonyms.
Yes some of the names are extremely repetitive, particularly shadow, but its Steven's choice and we have to stick with it.
Really don't like the removal of necromancer on yours. For a summoner role, you'd think that'd be one of the first things you add as a decent bit of people enjoy playing necromancers in a majority of games.
I do think tank is a boring name and should be changed. Though, for the sake of my GF I hope siren stays lol.
To others this may sounds like a very minor thing, and we shouldn't be so fussy about it, but these classes are a core part of your character and as an avid roleplayers these things really matter to me. One of the reasons I like playing RPGs is you can embody someone with a certain cool factor/awesomeness. I believe no one wants to spend enormous amounts of time on a cool character only to end up like a "Keeper". If you want to play that role, go play football/soccer.
I totally agree! Every other archetype has this classic descriptor (i.e. "Rogue", "Bard" etc.), but the "Tank" is named after a WWI vehicle, which doesn't fit the setting at all. I choose "Protector" as opposed to something like "Guardian" as archetype name because I already named the protector/ranger combo "Guardian". I thought it would be weird if there was a guardian/guardian that wouldn't be name "Guardian", but a guardian/ranger would. The "Siren" I found to be one of the cooler original class names, that's why I kept it in there. I think it fits the role really nicely.
A Summoner+cleric is not just a necromancer. It can be a summoner that worships and summons demons, or worships the dead and summons undead etc. A ritualist can be a necromancer but a necromancer cannot be a ritualist. Its just a more general name if you will.
For all the others I think we first need good playthrough to determine if the names do their roles justice.
Specifically for me, I'm looking forward to playing a Falconer, and don't see why it should be Druid, as there is already a Shaman for the "nature mage" role. I envision the role to be more of a ranged fighter that can summon a bow and arrow, and has a trusty familiar with (maybe) a magical connection, sight for instance.
It will all depend on how the devs will set up the roles I suppose.
Bard + Fighter = Tellsword
i Vote for reame Tellsword to Swordsinger ( like in L2)
i think only reason they nemaed bard+fighter tellsword is "tell" on first place in this word, but from my view is tellsword ugly combination and they have no reason not to name it to Swordsinger, Swordsinger is a beautiful combination.
btw l2 have best classes neames i was ever saw
(just change races)
