Jumping puzzles are one of my favorite things, the more challenging the better.
This would be beautiful for a Raid legendary level.
Honestly I can see it, instead of hurting the boss with skills the damage would come from completing parts of the puzzle, if someone does not complete their part of the puzzle correctly then it would not get enough damage to kill the Boss.

With player collision turned on. And a time limit.
I mean, this sounds harsh, but honestly some of the most rewarding gameplay I've experienced has been this hardcore. In Eve, you had bomber groups that had to perfectly coordinate their jumpins, warps, decloak and bomb drop. If you didn't do it perfectly you'd either get slaughtered by your enemies, blow yourself up with your own bombs, or just have all your bombs blow eachother up without doing any damage. Only the best Fleet Commanders (I see you Mr. Vee) with a very disciplined group could pull it off, but when you did it was absolutely devastating (like killing dozens of ships with a group of 10 bombers). I think this is part of the ongoing allure of high-end raids in WoW, and other content. I hope AoC at least provides the tools to create this kind of content.
p.s. they eventually changed the mechanics for how bombers worked to not require this level of coordination, and it felt like a loss.
and some push emotes.

THERE he is - the guy whose beaten me to the punch, posting about something that the thread-resurrector clearly did NOT bother to check the wiki for, before-hand.
I'm looking at you, @Arya_Yeshe. This is far from the first topic wherein I've noticed that you just aren't checking for an answer for, ahead of asking.
How so? #confused
I already knew AoC will have jumping puzzles, I am just highlining the fact that GW2 jumping puzzles are amazing and I am not even a jumping puzzles lover
If you were fortunate enough, like me, for playing some JP in GW2 then you know what I mean, their JP over there are wonderful and I was a full time pvper who didn't even complete the pve quests
SWTOR had something like this in one of it's Raids. there were 8 Elite Mobs that you had to fight, but once you did damage to one no one else could hurt it other than one attack so it was fun pairing off with your elite and doing solo content in the raid setting.
Maybe with path altering features, where either players could block others who chase them or seasons would make them harder or completely inaccessible.
Sounds cool
I enjoy them, but I also get sick of them. Those two games make it non mandatory, its just something you can do when I the mood.
Some cosmetic type rewards would be totally fine.

Personally, I love jumping puzzles in MMORPG. I totally understand the sentiment of how they can be clunky in some games. We aim to ensure the terrain obstacles in Ashes of Creation will make sense as well as be fun to encounter
I am undecided about vertical walls where you can jump through and land into secret passages. You cannnot see them and only the most determined would climb and jump toward surfaces to test their collisions. I am not one of them unless it is a know thing to happen. Maybe the game could have such intermittent secret shortcuts.
