Rangers should have ammo. Not having ammo in the game removes a massive part of class uniqueness. There is a great opportunity here for the ranger class to have its own unique profession in Arrow crafting
Again, I'm all for ammo because it opens up additional gameplay, especially when you take into account elemental type arrowheads. Or what about non-advertised/hidden materials in a few rare places that allow you to create some rather powerful arrows, reward your exploring, and knowledge of the land.
Not having it is in a sense more limiting, and frankly more boring. (Example: You'll just have a skill that adds poison damage, something you hardly think about as it's just a button in your rotation.)
