  • I cant wait to see if there are any Naval nodes and how those will work. I also think it would be cool to take part in node wars that are on the coast. By bombarding the enemy to help protect or help take the node. Also would be cool to attack the costal node or nodes from the ocean. And drop off your army on the beach and storm the node from the beach.

    I like this. In addition, maybe there will be islands that are away from corruption and can have freehold areas. Thank you sir for stiring my mind :)

    I kinda lowkey wanna see one node in all 6 race architecture (-Tulnar cause there no chance there building are ready) just so we can see how node may look differently from eachother based on race although even if it was like 2 races we got to see the same node at same rank based on different architecture.

    I also kinda wanna see a node aswell that isnt just flat land so we can see some unique looking node based on natural terrain.

    My main expectation for it is that there will be a small cadre of "content creators" regurgitating it for content.

    I’d like to see the effects that a growing node has on its surroundings like dungeons, mobs, roads, NPCs, etc.

    I’d also like more information on node sieges. We have very little info on them right now. Basic stuff like how many people can participate in a node siege? Steven has said the person who lays down the siege scroll can’t stop people from participating in the attack. Does this mean it’s an unlimited amount? If it’s not an unlimited amount, why would I bother putting in all the work for a siege scroll but not get to choose who’s with me on the attack? If I can’t get my boys in the war with me, that’s a hard no for me.

    Also, I’d like to see scoreboards from the node sieges as well. I know Else likes the numbers. I’m somewhat of a numbers guy myself. New World didn’t have great scoreboards after their wars and it caused a lot of people to stat pad very basic things (total damage/heals). I hope we can get more in depth metrics (like time on point). Scoreboards will likely be a thing though because Steven said that maybe the “top participants” would have priority access to the node ruins to pillage. I assume that will be tracked by some kind of scoreboard.

    I’d love to see an in depth score board like this. Objective style scorings. Kills and deaths are cool, but yea time on point, healing done, damage taken, etc will be lovely

    Some of the most interesting game towns and cities scale upwards (imo) and give me visual awe because of how small you feel in comparison. I think Intrepid has great landscape scaling when you're out exploring but I'm curious to see if they have managed to implement this into nodes.

    Yea a node spanning across multiple elevations will be cool. I’d also like to see large structures especially if we can go in them

    Node sieges
    Ruins
    Guild Patronage
    Vassal system
    Castle influence

    Yea I’m expecting us to get a slideshow even longer than the freehold one cause that’s a lot to cover. Nodes are sooo intricate and tie to so much one way or the other so we may be in for a long one if done right

    Oooh. That’d be interesting. Without a sea tailed scoreboard support players value won’t be as displayed. If there’s no scoreboard that’s fine, but if there is one it should be detailed imo. What you think?

    I'm on the fence with scoreboards personaly, and its just my opinion. Not for any other reason that it uses metrics, those metrics then are used to make add ons and other programs such as bots. Also I think its just not my thing to see in game. But, I realize I am much older than lots of you guys and yoiu grew up with all these things, leaderboards and such, so I can understand why you want them. If its in game its not gamebreaking, it will just be dissapointing for me.
