Can we get a fix please??? /bump
It really is surprising at how long this is taking. It's clearly very low on their priority list; however, this affects six percent of all players in a very negative way, especially if they have a 32:9 monitor (as I do).
Moreover, I've proven that a simple INI change on the developers' end will solve it perfectly well. It would take less than one minute to fix this.
Please, developers, just get this fixed up.
Let us see the full glory of Verra on our mega monitors!
With this last update there were a bunch of changes in that INI file for things like automation testing, network configuration, etc. Still, this critical issue is missed. I'm guessing it's sitting in a backlog and while someone on the team is aware of it, an actual dev simply hasn't been assigned the task.
How many more months for a 1 second fix...
Because this problem doesn’t affect streamers, it’s clear the developers have no real intention of fixing it anytime soon. The priorities here are painfully obvious, and it’s downright infuriating.
I'm not sure what to say on this anymore. I created a fix to test the theory in 2024 and it works great. It really is a 2 minute job for them, it's just a matter of them taking the little time.
Given the ease of a fix, and the fact a community member with UE5 experience would likely volunteer their time to not only test the game, but to also implement a fix... I don't see why this is still outstanding.
At least remove the ultrawide resolutions so as to not give an 'illusion' of support
