All races once lived in Verra but something happened (Strongly hinted to be some kind of corruption because some devs failed to keep their mouth shut). After the corrutpion of the world (or race(s)?) the playable races had to GTFO out. Now, suddenly the portals opened again and we went back.

Personaly I belive some race or person/deity or clan/group stayed behind and have now opened the gate for us to come and help them do something. Or maybe some evil race in Verra opened our own portals or led us to it since they want to conquer our worlds.

Most likely scenario though is that we are going back to our recently opened home world again to fight some form of corruption in the world.

However the story goes, I'm jumping on this band wagon. Steven has already stated there will be books if I'm not mistaken...to explain the lore, good enough for me to chew on while we wait.

The Boston clothes really messed up the lore. I had some good stories to pen but then they added Boston Tea Party stuff. That means time travel or maybe a ship's replicator that fabricated them out of ancient clothing patterns. I'm pretty sure there's going to be aliens in this game.

There was a big contest to select the people to leave their world and go back to Verra. Once they had went through the gate, it was shut down and all the people on their home world threw a 3 day kegger in celebration of tricking all the degenerates into leaving.

The devs have shared very little on lore to this point. Steven said they are laser focused on their promised milestone goals instead, and that although there is a lot of lore established, they are keeping it hidden for now. :-) #keepthemysterygoing

My big thoughts on why are people returning is, is every race coming back from a different place?(world or such) . So has it been thousands of years that dwarves and elves and such have not interacted with each other? and are the portals going to be two way, can you go back through them?
