I am going to agree with a resounding no on this one. Reminds me to much of the log in rewards thread.
Like... Ugh this content is great, if only they charge me more money for every step i take.
If only they would, instead of implementing a cohesive game experience, make a detached XP bar where i can watch my stupidity rise in real time by throwing more and more money to get items that have no reason to exist.
If it was Steven trying to sneak in some easy quick bucks/super low effort content i would atleast understand what is happening here, but having consumers actively ask for this is just.. wow. im speechless.
Albion store have already gold vs euro store and sub make everything faster. So the pay to win is already here.
And the "battle pass" (montly quest) you describe it's just a way to artificially engage more people ig when the game itself is too weak to do it naturally.
Its not my idea, the epic games dsenvolved the battle pass thing. 0
You idea that a battlepass might be good for Ashes is what I am against. To be clear.
I don't care who invented the battlepass or what games people liked them in. I just don't want to see them in Ashes. Nothing wrong with liking them if you think another game was better off with battlepasses. I just personally don't want to deal with any lists of predetermined chores.
Playing the game should be its own reward.
This is my personal feedback, shared to help the game thrive in its niche.
