    Maybe it's just me, but I've always associated marriage systems with the end of a game. It was probably RO that put that idea in my head, but to each his own.

    I say to my wife "don't stress i'd never cheat on you, it's hard enough to keep one woman happy.". I could see an interest in a family system as a sort of mini guild system without the politics for friends that might not be in the same guild or those that run multi accounts although an actual marriage system I would only really want implemented if you didn't get any form of benefit other than cosmetic (eg. shared family name title etc.). As I see it some would find the system entertaining yet others would hate it. So long as those with no interest in the system didn't feel forced to partake due to bonuses I could see a marriage system working.

    Where’s the fun in marriage without its inherent benefits. I think it should have adequate pros and cons. Benefits as well as drawbacks. 

    Like if Someone flags on your spouse it immediately tags you as a combatant as well etc. I dunno how they will implement it but I hope it’s not just there for the sake of being there. It has to have weight

    My daughter did agree to marry me if we both get something 'really neat' out of it. I have the feeling she wants an undead horse that has purple gear with sparkles.

    Here's an idea. Items crafted by your spouse have additional bonuses for you particularly.

    @cypher86 I could live with a benefit like you mention (don't flag if taking revenge on spouse killer), would prefer to see some sign the first person is married (ie. last name) so I could weigh up the chance it is a lowbie trap with a high level spouse waiting to jump out and take my stuff for no consequence :)
    @Cyreph I could also live with the idea of additional bonuses on spouse crafted items so long as they scaled inversely to crafters "power" (eg. low quality items higher % bonus than high quality items) OR roll the same bonus into a guildmate crafted item so everyone has the ability to receive the same bonuses in different way so as not to feel forced into needing to take on marriage (or a guild for that matter).

    I honestly don't see to much of a point for a marriage system unless its for the small community niche of role players, if its for that community then I say go for it because it could add political and romantic intrigue; great for pushing a story. Other than that, its useless unless you add benefits, in which cause your gonna see about 100,000+ newly weds in a minute. :open_mouth:

    Exactly, im just saying that in reality its just gonna become a benefits grab. No one will take it seriously other than those brownie points. Also on a sidenote nice icon there cypher86, lol.

    I would like to have this type of thing marriage is in game really forgotten but you can actualy have bonuses , events and have a social thing with your partners :D I would like to include a chest that is shared for the couple and a house that can be built

    I feel like you maayyyyy have went too far with this. Extreme Intimacy (as you listed)  in public should automatically flag you seeing as it's against law :joy:
