Female Expression In AoC

As a Female MMO gamer I would like to suggest giving more effeminate options in armor styles. My concern is that I would like to have the option for dressing effeminately. The reason I am suggesting to make it optional is so people can dress as feminine or masculine or neutral as the player choses. This aids players self expression. Different armor styles as well as jewelry and makeup would be very helpful in this goal. I understand that you would like to keep things on the more practical side but this could be stifling to the communities creativity. Self expression and fashion is very important to me as a player I would like as many options as possible in creating my character.

So, a point worth making.

If one side of a discussion is consistently louder, over multiple platforms, for many years, they are probably not a minority.

If they are indeed a minority, they clearly care more about the discussion than the majority.

It is very easy for us to always think our position is the majority one. This is because we tend to surround ourselves with like-minded people, as it is always more enjoyable to spend time with those that have similar mindsets to ourselves.

If you go out in to the gaming world in general, leaving behind ones own bubble, the discourse on this is fairly one sided.

If there are indeed a silent majority that want this changed, they need to start being less silent - and I am not talking about on an individual game forum.

They need to shift the whole discourse.

If they can't or won't do this, expect every game developers to generally adhere to the discourse happening in their primary target market.

Yes the one who already existed far prior to content creators being a thing ye that one.
'Want this Changed'? I mean we are not the ones really in here asking (or should i say demanding...) for changes tho as one can notice... or should be obvious, because maybe we are somewhat fine with what there is (we provide suggestions/ideas thats it).
And yes maybe people should be less silent but again what i mention above ^ why bother (we do be wasting our time and braincells).

Also the fatigue over big content creators (their content/behavior/ideologies) been considerably increasing and noticeable...

like as soon as all of that BS started failing and stuff started getting back to normal Overwatch for example the game thats been putting out BS for years changed to save themselves , heck as soon as rivals came out they started releasing hot characters and showering them with skins and lately released a statement that they will focus on putting out well in short "hot characters" and basically cut the well as they put it "quirky" stuff they been putting out and killing their game with.

I have to say as a male, the male avatars and armor is just meh.

I wouldn't count to expect any more civil or more artistic or more feminine or male Designs in Clothes and/or Armor until the Game nears it's Release State, a.k.a. 1.0.

Could be even later than that, too.

Seems reasonable. Lets just not make it into a wifu creator.

On the point of how assets render on different sexes or different races. I'm not a fan of how it is currently. It's so strange that as you pass armor from one character to another it actually changes how it looks. I would actually like to be a Vek with Dwarf armor. I mean essentially they're using a fraction of the assets per race they could be using. I understand this would take some work to make sure each armor would look good on each race. So any character should be able to wear any piece of gear and have it render basically the same. Whether that's a helm, sword, cup, thong, tutu, whatever..

It would be such an absolute Waste if Nobody can even get them anymore. The cool House-Skins, Mounts, Armor-Sets, Caravan(?)-Skins, etc. etc.

I dont get the blow back on this one. Spending a long time my my character for Phase 3 because they may not be wipped for a long time. Changing options did very little. Its no where current industry standards. Clothing looks frumpy on top of that. Sure some things look cool but not on a whole. I'm not overly impressed with most of the dungeon dropped style.

In the fact that woman standards on how they look are higher then the average man. Says that Ashes is missing out on that demographic. My wife prefers the style on her WoW mage over Ashes. That says something.

I feel some people in here are just stuck in the past... if i wanted everything exactly as they were in the mmo i used to play, then i suppose i would just stick to it instead of looking for something new right?
