Re: Greens unable to be CCd
The no CC is also there so somone like ohh look this guy fighting mobs im just gonna stun him for 2 seconds so the mobs kill him for me and i dont get a penalty cause i didnt do the killing blow :p I think u should be CC immune for like 3-5 seconds or so when u get hit by somone so initiating a fight isnt so benefitial to… -
Mob Difficulty and solo quests/challanges
so, i started playing guild wars 2 this week for the first time and for the most part the combat is extremely fun, its fast paced and even whilst being mostly tab target, being able to dodge attacks gives a really great feeling towards the combat, and it is extremely enjoyable. i found my self at level 40 doing a quest, i… -
Re: The game should have a constantly updating list of mysteries.
I like to have constant new treasures to find but I would not like to know how many are out there. I was thinking that maybe treasures could be generated by events, when caravans are destroyed. Or even by players when they are in danger, in a PvP area: - they could find a hiding spot, bury the goods and if they do not… -
Just some things Id like to see IMO.
First off ill mention while I watch some of the dev streams I don't keep 100% up to date on features as they are progressively being updated, so Id just thought id list some features Id be interested in seeing on full-release. 1. Taverns/Player-based Businesses actually have a decent impact on the economy and feel of the… -

To elaborate Creating maps i mean a player can sell maps that you can purchase to have vision of places you have yet not uncovered or Dungeon routes, but the seller has. I think the concept is cool i just dont think having to rediscover the same… -

Re: Some Summoner ideas
I just pray that the Secondary Archetypes (Classes) actually have unique and different feeling from each other. I would hate for each flavor of Summoner to be a re-skinned version of the same class. The only reason I haven't dropped $250+ so I can join in Alpha 2 and beyond is I have no real info on how that is going to… -
Re: Quest dialogs
I think there are two separate methods here. 1) If the quest unveils like a dialog back and forth with the NPC you would feel like you have a connection with the NPC and the NPC is part of the storyline. 2) If you handed the piece of paper with the quest as you said, you would feel as if a Dungeon Master in D&D unveils a… -
Re: Using players' actions to create evolving lore with each expansion
There is 2 things i see problematic with your suggestion overall:* The general expectation of completely broken mechanics (That will define close pretty much all the servers based on how broken they are) being a common thing. If it is a rare occurrence, then there won't be any need for a separate subsection of lore. * If… -
A comment on arrow sound effects
The sound effects and audio feedback was fantastic in todays Ranger stream. The audio did a great job "describing" (if that makes sence) what Steven was doing and it was able to broadcast the results of his actions. You could for the most part close your eyes and have some idea of what was happening. You heard the bow…
