    I'm quite interested in the MtG MMO too. I always like the concept of the different planes. I think the card game is dying a slow death to more dynamic electronic CCGs.

    Aye, it'll be difficult for RL TCGs to compete against the digital world. MTG hasn't been sitting around idly though. The MTG games on Steam are a decent start but they do have a ways to go before recovering from the recent storm of CCGs like Hearthstone and the ESO card game. I won't even start on all the Asian CCGs out there. 

    Anyway, I digress. This warrants further discussion in the off topic section once they make it lol.

    15. patrolling / nomadic mobs
    16. mobs friendly to the local community and not friendly to outsider

    Yes, please.


    Plus not all mobs of the same type be exactly the same.  Have some weaker and some stronger, have the occasional alpha specimen and the rare mini-boss.


    Please make the loot drops make sense.  I don't want to get a sword or a scroll or money off a wolf.

    I am also one of those that love the D&D style monsters.  I would like to see some of the undead creatures like the Githyanki, Lich's, Death Knights, Vampires, Trolls and what not.  Maybe some lesser type demons, Dragonkin\Draconians, Mimics, Lycanthropy, Kobolds, and other humanoid type of monsters.  
    What I hope you don't do is take something like a Bear or Spider and just change skin and put them everywhere. I know we are talking a lot of time and what not goes into each monster but running around killing the same thing over and over just drains you.

    Also any monster that you have to think about how to kill it rather than just hack and slash. Have a couple that you really have to think about how to defeat it or maybe even trick it into letting you around it.  That would be interesting.

    @ruairidh; Aye, MTG artwork is among the best. I really hope we get some badass colossal size monsters in the world of Ashes.

    @nagash; Not sure how to describe the badassery of those undead bosses. My favorite would be undead versions of giants and dragons like the first and second image.

    @nagash Does our Lord already have a pet? It would be unacceptable for a ruler of the dead not to have one. I hereby offer thee a few examples of what pets might assist thy undeadness best:

    I'm not gonna lie to ya.... I want to see some "traditional" high fantasy classic Forgotten Realms style enemies... such as:

    Frost Giants!




    Beholders!





    And enough skeletons, undead things, and demons to give @nagash a boner!

    Then for the mobs that bring environmental changes/moods.ie
    • the mob that brings darkness where ever it goes.
    • the mob that bring fog where ever it goes
    • the mob that brings fire/ice/lighning storms
    • the mob that brings blinding light
    • the mob that brings noise!
    • the mob that silences everything
    • the mob that fears everything in its wake so you know something evil is coming
    • the mob that infiltrates your team appearing as a member before turning
